Yes, We Can End The Ukraine War In 24 Hours - Here's How

Brandon Turbeville
July 17, 2023

As the United States Presidential Primaries are now in full swing, there is much talk about the future of the American-Ukraine-Russian entanglement. Should the United States be sending more assistance to Ukraine? Less? Are we moving fast enough? Should we be moving at all? These are the questions that are beginning to show the dividing lines in both parties between the anti-war and pro-war camps and, thus, the oligarchy’s approved candidates and those who are more outside the acceptable reigns of modern politically established candidates.

I will remind my own readers that, in 2013, when the Obama administration overthrew the Yanukovich Presidency in Ukraine, I wrote numerous articles not only exposing the coup for what it was but also predicting that the color revolution in Ukraine would lead to a confrontation between the United States and Russia on the battlefield of Ukraine. I was criticized for not supporting the “freedom movement” in Ukraine that soon turned into ethnic conflict and civil war. I was then criticized for opposing American “assistance” to Ukraine in the form of money and weaponry as well as training and American military personnel. I was wrong, according to my critics, for not supporting the “underdog” against the alleged aggressor who was bigger and stronger. If only my critics had reacted logically instead of emotionally and in a woefully uninformed manner, perhaps public opinion would have opposed any involvement in Ukraine and much of the needless bloodshed would never have occurred.

That’s doubtful, of course, since public opinion alone rarely makes a difference when the Great Eating Machine is hungry and has decided to march forward with a pre-ordained plan of war or economic destruction.

The vindication I feel for being right in my assessment ten years prior is no match for the disappointment I feel at watching Ukrainians being slaughtered by Russians and other Ukrainians, for Russians being killed by Ukrainians, and for the distinct possibility that American service personnel may soon be experiencing the same fate. It does not make up for the very real threat of World War Three that will effect every man, woman, and child upon the planet this time around. It also does not make up for watching Americans insulted every day by the fact that billions of dollars are routinely shipped to Ukraine while their own country falls apart at the seams.

How Russia Became Involved with Ukraine Part 3

This article is Part 3 in a series dedicated to the issue of Ukraine.

Part 1: Could the Ukraine Conflict be the Start of WW3? Here’s the Background on This Brewing Crisis

Part 2: The Collaboration Between Islamic Fundamentalism & Neo-Nazism in Ukraine, Both Supported by U.S – Fact or Fiction?

In the past two articles, I’ve examined how the crisis in Ukraine unfolded and the makeup of the “activists” that made the overthrow of Yanukovych possible. At the time, the stage was set to be yet another Ukrainian color revolution. Fund massive protests, pressure the President, the President resigns, and a puppet President takes his place. After that, the fleecing of the Ukrainian people could begin anew, Ukraine could join NATO, and Russia would be further physically encircled with a hostile organization pointing missiles and machinery at it from the other side of the border. The “Euromaidan” was successful.

Then Russian involvement In Ukraine began.

Despite being vastly outgunned and out-manned by Ukrainian ultra-right militias and the Ukrainian military, Eastern Ukrainians were managing to not only defend themselves but also to drive Western Ukrainian forces back. This led many to speculate as to whether or not Russia had committed troops to support the Eastern Ukrainian rebels against Kiev. Western media and the governments it speaks for began crowing about Russian troops in Ukraine and “Russian aggression.” Russia, for its part, denied any involvement beyond humanitarian shipments to civilians.

The truth is somewhat murkier, however.

In 2019, the term “nazi” has come to mean anything to the right of Karl Marx. Even liberals who support free speech have been labeled nazis and scarcely can one find anyone on the radical left who doesn’t see a “fascist” hiding under any bed. Usually, a “fascist” is just someone with a different opinion. For that reason, hearing the term “nazi” when referring to proxy fighters in Ukraine might seem questionable. Are these fighters actually nazis or do they simply not want a Communist utopia in their country?

In the Ukrainian “Euromaidan” movement, however, the term “nazi” is applied legitimately. It is also important to note the lack of coverage given to this fact by the Western mainstream press that is otherwise so quick to label activists in their own countries as supporters of Hitler. Here, the press ignored the issue altogether. At times, the term “nationalists” were used, falsely equating support for one’s country with National Socialism.

Could the Ukraine Conflict be the Start of WW3? Here’s the Background on This Brewing Crisis

Brandon Turbeville
February 22, 2019

While many are concerned with possible flare-ups in places like Syria, Israel, or the South China Sea, another area where there is the distinct potential for a third world war has always been and still remains to be Ukraine.

While the Western media rarely reports on Ukraine except to remind its readers and viewers that Russia “illegally annexed” Crimea and destabilized democratic Ukraine, the fact is that the area is a powder keg that could bring about direct clashes between Russia and the US or NATO.

Although Syria still retains much of the spotlight in the Western press, Ukraine happens to be yet another repeat of the NATO method of using color revolutions and proxy fighters to destroy a central government in order to replace that government with a puppet of their own choosing.

Russian resistance, however, has confounded those plans at least in the east of the country and what has taken place subsequently has resulted in a proxy war between Russia and the United States. To make matters worse, that proxy war is taking place on Russia’s border, making the situation that much more dangerous for the rest of the world.

Russian “aggression”

Western media’s incredibly frightening hysteria and fear-mongering over “Russian meddling,” “Russian spying,” “Russian military involvement” and pretty much anything Russian whatsoever are occasionally highlighted by distorted claims pretending to show that Russia is acting aggressively or has ever acted aggressively in Ukraine.

For Western mainstream media and for Western governments, Russia’s actions in Crimea and Ukraine are nothing more than another example of Russian aggression that is growing worldwide. Virtually the entire Western world is engaging in neo-McCarthyism, this time moving full speed ahead without even the benefit of having at least some credible evidence to back up its case.

US To Officially Send “Lethal Arms” To Ukraine, Russia Says US “Crossed The Line” – But US Has Been Arming Kiev For Years

After its horrendous decision to officially recognize Jerusalem as the Israeli capitol, the Trump administration is showing signs of its intention to provide anti-tank missiles and possibly even the Javelin missile system to Ukrainian fascist forces in their fight against the Donbass separatists and, according to the State Department itself, Russia.

Earlier, the Trump administration had announced that it would be providing “lethal aid” to Ukraine, which the U.S. characterizes as “defensive” in nature. As The Hill reports,

The State Department confirmed that the U.S. had decided to provide Ukraine with defensive equipment.
"The United States has decided to provide Ukraine enhanced defensive capabilities as part of our effort to help Ukraine build its long-term defense capacity, to defend its sovereignty and territorial integrity, and to deter further aggression," State Department spokeswoman Heather Nauert said in a statement.

Pentagon, State Dept. Submit Proposals To Arm Ukraine Against Russia In New Provocation

Brandon Turbeville

As the Syrian military moves further east and clinches yet more territory from America’s terrorists, the United States establishment is now moving to escalate its provocations in another part of the world – Ukraine. Of course, despite the fact that Russia has launched a massive military operation to protect its strategic interests in Syria, the U.S. terror establishment is attempting to provide more arms and equipment to fascists in Ukraine in a clear effort to push NATO literally up to the Russian border.

It is currently being reported by numerous corporate outlets such as the New York Times that both the Pentagon and the State Department are proposing a plan to the White House that would see the U.S. supply Ukraine with anti-tank missiles and other arms. The transfer would also include antiaircraft systems described as “defensive weaponry.”

Fighting between Ukrainian fascist forces allied with Ukraine proper and pro-Russian separatists in the Donbass region has escalated in recent days and the proposal comes amidst an atmosphere of tension between the U.S. and Russia, itself being escalated by a monstrous and telling sanctions bill passed by Congress and an order by Putin to reduce diplomatic staff with the United States as a response.

As of yet, no decisions have been made by the White House but plans have been submitted by both the State Department and the Pentagon. The New York Times, citing an unnamed Defense Department official said it was not clear whether or not Trump had even been briefed about the proposal.

While any sane individual would oppose such a proposal (even Obama refused to send in a similar type of weaponry being proposed today, instead opting for “nonlethal” aid), the American Deep State and the U.S. Congress have become virtually united in insanity, bringing along a sizeable portion of the American public along with them. Donald Trump is a known wildcard but, as his Tomahawk missile launch against Syria demonstrated, his wildcard behavior very easily translates to provocations that could result in a thermonuclear third world war.

DPR, LPR Separatists In East Ukraine Declare New Country “Malorossiya”

July 18, 2017

On July 18, Donetsk People’s Republic leader, Alexander Zakharchenko, announced the creation of a new country that will be made up of the DPR and LPR regions in Eastern Ukraine. The new country will be called “Malorossiya” or “Little Russia.” Local leadership is describing the country as a “successor state” to Ukraine.

Zakharchenko is proposing a three-year transition period toward the creation of the new state as a way to settle the ongoing conflict.

"We propose to establish the state of Malorossiya. Malorossiya is an independent young state. A transition period of up to 3 years," Zakharchenko told reporters.

Zakharchenko said that discussions taking place within the DPR have “come to the conclusion that Ukraine has shown itself as a failed state” and called on the international community to support the new proposal.

"We should be supported by the residents of the regions. This solution is possible provided that the international community supports the idea," he said.

Malorossiya has been declared a sovereign federation of states, with Donetsk being the capitol. The Malorossiyan constitution will be drafted and subsequently debated and put up for referendum and public discussion. Central authorities will be in charge of the government’s budget, army, and security forces said Alexander Timofeev, DPR Income and Charges Minister.

Donbass, East Ukraine On Its Way To Becoming Own Country By Default

Brandon Turbeville
Activist Post
March 22, 2017

After having fallen prey to Western machinations of destabilization and civil war, it is apparent that there may now be irreparable differences between the East and West portions of Ukraine. With the East of Ukraine more in line with Russia and the West more in line with Western Europe, all compounded by years of civil war and outright persecution and atrocities committed by the fascist Ukrainian forces, the DPR and LPR are showing signs of going their separate ways and breaking away from West Ukraine in a more final fashion.

When Crimea voted to reunite with Russia after a long separation, many suspected the DPR and LPR would follow suit. In fact, there was a movement within both republics to do the same. However, geopolitical and diplomatic concerns on the part of Russia prevented such a vote from ever solidifying a “reunification” with Russia.

A vote to reunify with Russia in the same fashion as Crimea would have no doubt caused a diplomatic emergency between Russia and the warmongering West. Indeed, it may have even caused military confrontation. However, after time passed and the impasse between East and West Ukraine has become more pronounced, it appears that East Ukraine is making moves toward becoming its own country even without formal recognition. East Ukraine – DPR and LPR (Donbass)– may very well become their own nation by default and by natural progression of events.

Eastern Ukraine (Donbass) has, for at least a year, begun working on setting up the framework of a governmental system, complete with a political framework, the seizing of banks, and the operation of various industries. Greater centralized military structure, as necessitated by the current conflict, has also become a reality.

After CIA Micro-Coup, Trump Suddenly Wants Russia To Give Up Crimea, Thinks Obama Was 'Too Soft'

Brandon Turbeville
Activist Post
February 16, 2017

Only a day after an apparent micro coup conducted by elements within the CIA and U.S. intelligence apparatus, it appears that, if the CIA’s goal was to convince President Donald Trump that moves toward rapprochement with Russia would not be tolerated and that forces greater than Trump are in control of U.S. policy, that mission has been accomplished.

Despite a campaign of seemingly more rational foreign policy promises not to start World War Three, on the evening of February 14, mainstream headlines announced that Trump is now claiming that Crimea was “taken” by Russia and that Russia should give the region back to Ukraine.

"President Trump has made it very clear that he expects the Russian government to deescalate violence in the Ukraine and return Crimea,” said White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer on Tuesday. Trump then later tweeted on Wednesday, February 15, “Crimea was TAKEN by Russia during the Obama Administration. Was Obama too soft on Russia?”

As is typical, senile warmonger John McCain, who is well-known for abandoning U.S. POW’s in Vietnam and supporting every single military action ever put on the table including supporting actual terrorists, joined in a chorus of war fervor, urging Trump to “let's take a different course together: give defensive lethal assistance to #Ukraine & keep sanctions on #Russia.”

Trump’s rhetoric on the campaign, mere hinting at the fact that the United States under a Trump administration might consider removing the idiotic and aggressive sanctions put in place under Obama, are now directly at odds with his behavior and decisions as President.

Canada Inks Free Trade Deal With Ukraine, Emphasizes Security Relationship

July 11, 2016

Canada’s Obama, Prime Minster Justin Trudeau, is now making good on his task of providing a young and well-spoken face to a continuation of oppression, authoritarianism, globalization, and imperialism, much like his American counterpart did with great success eight years ago. Thus, it was to the cheers of many that Trudeau met with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko in Kiev to announce a greater “cooperation” between the two countries both in security and in trade, despite the announcement being nothing more than the telegraph of a continuation of imperialism and the giant sucking sound of “free trade.”

During the news conference, Poroshenko stated that Ukraine has requested 200 Canadian military trainers to remain in Ukraine after the 2017 expiration date for the current arrangement. While Canadian military “trainers” are currently deployed in Ukraine, Trudeau did not publicly commit to a continuation of the arrangement. Still, he re-emphasized Canada’s “commitment” and “relationship” with Ukraine both on the military and economic front. Given Trudeau’s statements about Russia and the Ukrainian crisis, however, informed observers tend to suspect that Canada’s military role in Ukraine will continue as needed.

Trudeau and Poroshenko also signed a mutual “Free Trade” deal at the meeting, another small step in the direction of globalization and the elimination of anything resembling high living standards for majority of the world’s workforce.

“We are right now focused on the training mission that is going so well for both Canadians and especially for the Ukrainian military,” Trudeau said. “As the situation evolves, we will continue to monitor and look at the best way we can continue to support and help Ukraine and we will do so in the spirit of collaboration and friendship that has always existed between Canada and Ukraine.”

Is Ukraine MP Blaming Putin For The Flu?

putin virus2Heather Callaghan
February 1, 2016

Last week, we reported the uncontained U.S. lab virus dubbed by Donetsk Army officials as “Californian Flu” that killed over 20 Ukraine soldiers and hospitalized hundreds more. The deadly strain apparently escaped a U.S. military lab located near the city of Kharkov and is said to claim lives within two days.

Coincidentally, reports surfaced of another flu epidemic that spread to civilians in the eastern Ukrainian city of Kramatorsk. It simply isn’t clear at this time if the two outbreaks are related, although they both share serious respiratory complications. The U.S. media is still eerily quiet about claims of possible U.S. involvement in a deadly, uncontained outbreak which doesn’t respond to modern medicine. Reports of the Ukraine flu, called a Swine flu, continue in the news each day as the death toll climbs and citizens everywhere don white masks.

Ukrainian MP, Olga Bogomolez, the Head of the Committee of the Verhovnay Rada stated that the illness has killed 122 people. It is being reported that Bogomolez has accused Putin of being responsible for the sickness.

DONi News reports:

Over the past week, there were registered eleven deaths in Kiev, one death in Kharkov, four deaths in the Odessa region, three deaths in the Chernigov region and two deaths in Zaporozhye.

NATO Provokes Russia In Crimea As Syria Tensions Rise

nato_wallBrandon Turbeville

As the situation in Syria heats up on the heels of the Turkish shoot down of a Russian military jet, the situation in Ukraine is doing the same as the Western-backed fascist Kiev regime is once again poking the Russian bear, presumably at the behest of the NATO powers.

After “mysterious” blasts that took place in the Kherson region of Ukraine over the weekend leaving nearly two million citizens without power in the recently annexed Russian territory, the Ukrainian government is now officially halting aid shipments as “activists” inside Crimea are blocking the repair of the power lines.

The Kherson region is located in Southeastern Ukraine and on the border with Crimea.

The blasts brought down electricity pylons that serve Crimea although the intended target was a currency exchange located in Kherson. A man apparently demanded cash before detonating the bomb in the building, with another bomb being found shortly thereafter outside. A separate explosion took place in Odessa, another city in the Southeastern Ukraine region. Explosives were later found near the power lines according to officials, preventing crews from being able to repair them.

Shortly thereafter, groups of “activists” made up of Crimean Tatars have taken to protest and have blocked the repair crews from restoring power to the areas currently suffering from the outage. The demands of the “activists” are that a tougher line be taken against Moscow. This “tougher line” essentially means doing more to “restore” Crimea to Ukraine and to “take it back” from Russia.

This is not the first political act groups of Tatars have committed in this regard. Ever since September, Tatar “activists” have stalked the border between Crimea and mainland Ukraine and have attempted to block commercial trucks from entering the peninsula.

Turkey and Ukraine Prepare Terrorist Brigades Aimed At Russia

While the Israeli’s continue to launch bombing raids across the border into Syria and the Turks prepare for an invasion of Syria on the northern border – along with an already aggressive “No-Fly Zone” policy protecting ISIS supply lines – the Turks are now engaging in an even more dangerous game. As if Turkey’s aggression against its Southern neighbor was not enough, the Turks are now aiding in the development of fighting forces to be aimed at Russia.

On August 1-2, a meeting was convened at the Hotel Billkent in Ankara, Turkey labeled the Second World Congress of the Tatars. This meeting brought together over 200 Tatar NGOs and associations from all over the world. The event was also attended by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin and Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Numan Kurtulmus. Both officials participated in the event as well.

As Zaman reports,

Nearly 200 Crimean Tatar nongovernmental organizations and civil society groups gathered in Ankara as part of the Second World Crimean Tatar Congress to discuss the ongoing crisis in Ukraine and the situation of their brethren in Crimea, which was annexed by Russia in February of last year.

The meeting took place on Saturday at Ankara Bilkent Hotel and Congress Center and focused on the dire conditions under which Crimean Tatars have to live in the face of encroaching Russian pressure on their cultural life. The gathering offered an opportunity for lengthy discussions about how to resolve the prolonged conflict in Ukraine and to maintain Tatars' threatened community rights under the new administration in Crimea.

New Hacker Video Claims To Show Staged Beheading Footage

John McCain’s sordid history with ISIS, terrorism, and color revolutions has been demonstrated time and time again. However, if a new video released by Ukrainian hacker group Cyber Berkut turns out to be real, McCain’s ties to terrorism and domestic pro-war propaganda have become even more demonstrative.

Only days ago, Cyber Berkut released a video purporting to show the studio creation of one of the famous ISIS beheadings of Western journalists. The video shows a “movie studio” complete with camera and directing crew as well as a small stage set with background and dirt for setting.

On his knees is what appears to be a bald man some are claiming to be Steven Sotloff (although others suggest James Foley); and to his side is another individual dressed in all black with his face covered in the same way as “Jihadi John” in the videos blasted across the television screens of Western audiences during the drum up to the bombing campaign in Iraq and Syria.

The hacker group claims it came into possession of the video by hacking into a device belonging to a member of John McCain’s staff while the Senator was visiting Ukraine.

The group wrote in a description of the video (translated from Russian):

Is Ukraine The Next In Line For Default?

Source

As Greece concludes its vote to reject IMF austerity measures and impossible “debt repayment mechanisms” and as the Puerto Rican debt cauldron bubbles off the shores of the United States, there is yet another country whose debts to private bankers, the IMF, and other “creditors” is about to come due – Ukraine.

Around the end of July, approximately $15.3 billion dollars of bonds will be due to be paid to a wide variety of creditors – government, IMF, and private holders. On July 26, however, Ukraine will be unable to pay the money it owes to those creditors.

Interestingly enough, when the Greek default hung in the air along with the possibility of the continued rejection of IMF austerity measures, compounded with the likelihood that the Greeks would begin to pursue a new policy of independence, sovereignty, and dirigism, the result was media and financier panic. That panic is not being played out over the Western airwaves when it comes to the question of Ukraine, however.

Indeed, another curious aspect to the looming Ukrainian default is the apparent haggling and scrambling on the part of the IMF to ensure that the country continues to implement austerity, pay its private creditors (except Russia), and pay the IMF while staying afloat, at least on paper. After all, when the Greeks announced (as the IMF later admitted in its own report) that the debt it owed was unpayable and unserviceable, the reactions from the IMF and the Eurogarchs were quite different – either make all the payments and implement all the austerity measures or face the wrath of the world financial elite.

Ukraine's Yatseniyuk Meeting With US Oligarchy, IMF This Week

Fresh on the heels of the international disgrace known as the G7 meeting conducted in Bavaria, a new meeting of austerity proponents and oligarchs will take place on American soil when Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniyuk arrives to discuss “Ukrainian territorial integrity” and “economic cooperation” with leaders of the United States and the IMF.

The meeting is scheduled to take place from June 8th to June 10th.

Ukraine Minister of Finance Natalie Jaresko is also part of the delegation.

Yatseniyuk is scheduled to meet with the “leadership of the United States” as well as US Speaker of the House John Boehner and representatives from the US Democratic and Republican parties. He is also scheduled to meet US Secretary of Energy Ernest Moniz and US Treasury Secretary Jacob Lew.

Yatseniyuk is also scheduled to meet with Christine Lagarde, Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund and other representatives from the IMF as well as the UN Under-Secretary General Jeffrey D. Feltman.
