Report: U.S., British Forces Enter Southern Syria Alongside Terrorists; Is A Bigger Battle Shaping Up?

Days after reports that Damascus was on high alert due to increased U.S. troop levels on the Jordanian border and an apparent preparation for an invasion from the south and southeast, the United States and Britain have indeed pushed into Syria from the very location earlier reports suggested would be used.

Fighting alongside jihadist terrorist organization, Jaysh Mughawr al-Thurah, a subsidiary of the Free Syrian Army, U.S. and British forces were filmed traveling through the Tanf border crossing in Homs governate. The troops were apparently heading towards the Hamimah area.

The reports were released first from the SMART News Agency, which writes that approximately 150 U.S. and British military personnel have entered Syria from Jordan.

SMART News Agency has provided video evidence of their claims. This video reportedly shows several military personnel in armed Humvees engaging in a firefight alongside terrorist forces, who were operating the cameras. Indeed, the familiar “Allahu Akbar” chant can be heard throughout the video.

Hamimah is around 90km east of Palmyra, near the Deir ez-Zour countryside. Albukamal is also located nearby, a town of strategic importance to the U.S.

U.S., Jordanian Forces Build Up On Syria, Jordan Border; Possible Invasion On The Horizon

Weeks after a cross-border invasion of Syria by U.S. forces under the guise of rescuing moderate terrorists from the grips of extremist terrorists in southern Syria, there are signs that a much bigger invasion is set to take place in the near future.

Damascus is now on high alert after footage gathered from a drone revealed the presence of around 400 U.S. and Jordanian military vehicles at a Jordanian military base located near the Syrian desert. The base is located east of az-Zarqa, which is 43 km away from the Syrian border. Tanks were also spotted and were reported to be M60s.

You may view some of the pictures taken by the drone at al-Masdar News by following this link.

It is suspected that the foreign military convoys may launch an incursion into Syria in order to assist the terrorist Free Syrian Army (FSA) based near the al-Tanf border crossing.

FSA allied forces have already entered Deir ez-Zour and Sweida numerous times in 2017 and have come close to Palmyra and Damascus, threatening combat with the Syrian military. If U.S. forces attempt to aid the FSA, such a move could lead to direct combat between Syrian and American military forces.

Earlier this week, Syrian Foreign Minister, Walid Muallem, stated that "We are not in confrontation with Jordan, but if the Jordanian forces invade our territories without coordination with us, we will consider them the enemy forces,"

Breaking Reports: U.S. Forces Entering Syria From Jordanian Border

Reports coming in from Lebanon and Syria are indicating that the United States is not done with its direct assault on Syria even as the al-Sha’aryat airbase that was targeted by American Tomahawk missiles is back up and running.

As independent journalist, Sarah Abdallah, reports, around 20 U.S. armored vehicles have poured across the Jordanian border into Syria. At this time, it remains unclear as to what the purpose of the vehicles might be. Abdallah is based in Lebanon.

Some suggest that the vehicles may simply yet another illegal American incursion into Syria of the routine variety, a prospect that is dangerous enough given current circumstances. However, there is also the possibility that the vehicles are part of something much larger such as an invasion of Syria by the United States, thus putting the U.S. in direct odds and likely military confrontation with both Syrian and Russian forces.

As of yet, there is no clear reason being cited for the incursion.

According to a leaked memo obtained by the Guardian in late March, 2016 King Abdullah of Jordan apparently briefed US officials on the fact that Jordanian Special Forces would be deployed to Libya to work alongside the British SAS. In that same briefing, Abdullah also allegedly stated that British SAS had been active in Libya since early 2016.

As Randeep Ramesh wrote for the Guardian at the time,

According to the notes of the meeting in the week of 11 January, seen by the Guardian, King Abdullah confirmed his country’s own special forces “will be imbedded [sic] with British SAS” in Libya.
According to the memo, the monarch met with US congressional leaders – including John McCain, the chairman of the Senate armed services committee, and Bob Corker, the chairman of the Senate foreign relations committee. Also present was the House of Representatives speaker, Paul Ryan
King Abdullah said UK special forces needed his soldiers’ assistance when operating on the ground in north Africa, explaining “Jordanian slang is similar to Libyan slang”.

Abdullah also allegedly pointed out that the British had been instrumental in setting up a “mechanized battalion” in Southern Syria made up of “local tribal fighters” (aka terrorists) and lead by a “local commander” for the purposes of fighting against the Syrian government forces.

Now Jordan Announces Plans To Invade Syria

Just one day after Turkey’s announcement of plans to invade Syria by implementing a “no-fly zone” or “buffer zone,” Jordan has now announced that it is considering doing the same.

According to a report by the Financial Times published on Monday, the Jordanians also plan to implement a “buffer zone” on the southern border with Syria, stretching across the provinces of Deraa and Suwayda. The “buffer zone” would most likely include the city of Deraa and, like the Turkish incarnation, a “militarized zone” to “separate the buffer area from government forces.”

While the Jordanian military would obviously be involved, the zone would largely be manned by terrorists receiving support from the United States and the West.

Despite the fact that the “buffer zone” is being given the coloration of a humanitarian effort to end the fighting, protect the Jordanian border, and provide an area for refugees to gather, the fact that the Free Syrian Army fanatics and other “anti-Assad rebels” known to civilized humans as cannibals, rapists, and murderers, is a clear signal that there is nothing humanitarian about this measure.
