Yes, Israel Knew About The Hamas Attack Plans Long Before They Took Place

Brandon Turbeville
December 2, 2023

On October 8, shortly after the Hamas attacks on Israel, I wrote an article entitled, "Something's Not Right About The Israel/Hamas War - Could It Lead To Genocide, World War Three?" In that article, I discussed how the official Israeli story, as well as the official Hamas story, simply did not seem to add up. Claims that Hamas, with its deep roots to Israeli intelligence, independently outwitted the Israeli intelligence apparatus in one of the most surveilled areas of the world seemed ominously similar to American claims that Osama bin Laden masterminded the 9/11 attacks from a cave in Afghanistan.

Indeed, in that article I wrote:

Gaza is one of the most surveilled areas of the world. The Israelis are exceptionally good at intelligence gathering and putting that intelligence to use and yet we are supposed to believe there were not enough Israeli intelligence agents on the ground in Palestinian territory to catch wind of such a monumental operation? Anyone who understands geopolitics and has been to the Middle East knows well how powerful and effective Israeli intelligence is in the region.

But, while it may be possible that Hamas did outwit the Israeli intelligence apparatus by using more rudimentary methods of communication, how do we know this now? How did we know the next day? Did Hamas announce its methods or did Israel discover it 24 hours too late? This explanation seems all too neatly sewn and all too quickly delivered to be entirely believable.

Indeed, the attack was able to deliver losses to the Israeli military in direct combat, missiles got past the Iron Dome, and ships escaped discovery. None of these losses are such that the Israeli military is crippled or even damaged beyond a potential perception of weakness but it was all theatrical enough and horrendous enough for civilians to experience that it has been useful to instill fear in the population.

Is it possible that Israel did, in fact, know about the plans to attack before they happened and that the Israeli government allowed it to happen for some reason or other? Is it also possible that the Israelis worked with Hamas to do so?

A recent article by the New York Times entitled "Israel Knew Hamas' Attack Plan More Than A Year Ago," by Ronan Bergman and Adam Goldman has revealed clear evidence that my questions were well placed. Israel did, in fact, know about the Hamas plan in detail long before it ever took place.

Seymour Hersh Releases Leaked Pentagon/DIA Document - One More Nail In The Coffin Of Western Gov't Official Story Of Syria Chemical Weapons Claims

Brandon Turbeville
November 3, 2023

With absolutely no fanfare in either the alternative or mainstream media, veteran journalist Seymour Hersh has released a leaked Pentagon/DIA assessment of the chemical warfare capability of Jobhat al-Nusra/Al-Nusra Front (also known as Al-Qaeda), a fact that Western governments and Western media simply would not admit during their "chemical weapons" propaganda volley against the Syrian government. The document is from June 20, 2013.

The documents were released in Hersh's article entitled "When the Intelligence is Inconvenient" and can be found on his Substack page. The entire article can be read in full with a subscription.

A brief excerpt from the article reads:

On Sunday Secretary of State Antony Blinken told Jonathan Karl of ABC’s This Week that he remained “very confident in Ukraine’s ultimate success” in the ongoing war with Russia. He depicted Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky’s decision to escalate its attacks inside Russia as “their decision, not ours.”

Blinken’s wrong-headed confidence and his acceptance of a significant escalation in the Ukraine war defies belief, given the reality on the ground today in the war. But it also could be based on insanely optimistic assessments supplied by the Defense Intelligence Agency. The DIA’s assessments, as I have reported, are now the intelligence of choice inside the White House.

As a journalist who has written about national security matters for many decades, how can I explain a process that is clearly contrary to the best interests of the people of the United States and its leadership?

More importantly than Hersh's quotes, however, are the quotes from the DIA assessment itself.

Protests In Suweida Reminiscent Of 2011 - Who Is Behind Them?

Brandon Turbeville
October 24, 2023

Twelve years after the initiation of the Western backed destabilization in Syria, it appears the Western intelligence and military apparatus is once again attempting to stir up a "popular" revolution against the government of Bashar al-Assad. This time, however, not only do they continue to use their proxy fighters in the form of terrorists and Kurdish fanatics, they are also attempting to use the domestic population to further fracture Syrian society.

Having suffered through over a dozen years of horrific warfare that saw their country largely destroyed and an almost unimaginable loss of life, Syrians were then saddled with American (and thus Western) sanctions that have brought the entire Syrian economy to a halt, causing as much suffering as the war itself at least in terms of living standards for the average Syrian.

With the frontlines largely quiet except for daily shelling and occasional airstrikes, Syrians are forced to reckon with the fact that, even with the guns silent, their lives will not return to normal or to any sense of normalcy. Basic necessities like electricity, fuel, medical care, and food are are scarce and have been scarce for some time. Certainly, they have been scarce long enough for the words of their government to "hold on just a little longer" to start feeling hollow. Indeed, starving Syrians have begun to look at Syrian government officials whose lives do continue on as normal with the resentful eyes of the hungry that only someone with an empty belly can truly understand.

This resentment is what Western powers are attempting to take advantage of.

Somethings Not Right About The Israel/Hamas War - Could It Lead To Genocide, World War Three?

October 8, 2023

On Saturday morning, an ominously quiet region was set alight with rocket fire, gun battles, and declarations of war, the latter threatening to bring in a multitude of other countries on either side. Indeed, the events that took place yesterday in Palestine and Israel could very well be the powder keg that ignites the rest of the world into an open and undeniable Third World War.

The clash began when fighters from Hamas launched rockets and a ground attack on villages near Gaza. Unlike previous clashes, the fighters used paratroops and parasails and also cut through the border fence to conduct their operations which were also conducted from the sea with Hamas using a number of ships. Hamas was able to capture several villages under Israeli control as well as make off with Israeli soldiers as prisoners. Hamas also reportedly captured Israeli civilians, taking them back across the battle lines into Hamas territory.

Hamas also launched thousands of rockets, with some reports of between 2,000 and 5,000, against numerous cities, with Tel Aviv reporting damage as well. Israeli officials claimed that 300 people were killed and hundreds wounded. Palestinian officials from the Palestinian Health Ministry reported 160 Palestinians had been killed and estimated that 1,000 were wounded.

Reports stated between 13 and 21 Israeli controlled villages were "infiltrated" by Hamas.

As Kyle Anzalone writes for Antiwar,

Human rights groups consider Gaza an “open-air prison.” Most Palestinians living in the region are refugees. Gaza is one of the most densely populated areas on the planet, with 2 million people living in 140 sq. miles. Israel severely restricts the amount of food, fuel, and water the people of Gaza can access.

What Just Happened In Niger? - Details, Analysis, And Solutions

Brandon Turbeville
September 5, 2023

On July 26, 2023, Niger's President, Mohamed Bazoum was overthrown in a coup. Presidential Guard Commander General Abdourahamane Tchiani subsequently proclaimed himself leader of the new military-led government. Immediately after Bazoum was removed from office, Tchiani's government closed the borders, declared a curfew, and suspended operations of various state institutions. For a country that scarcely makes the news at any time, Niger was suddenly front and center, revealing the true nature of its importance, at least in terms of its significance, geographically speaking. The French stand to lose the most, as France has been rapidly losing influence in Africa over the last several years. Western interests, as they stand, appear to be on the losing end of the coup while Russia and Wagner Group appear to be poised to, at the very least, capitalize on it. The coup also threatens to draw the region of West Africa into a multi-national conflict.

To be clear, the events still currently unfolding on the ground in Niger are not yet fully clear. While mainstream media outlets are trying to point the finger at  Russia, the alternative media is attempting to  blame the United States. Both suggestions may have merit, as does the possibility that the coup was simply a result of government mismanagement, corruption, and ineptitude, or at least the perception of it. It is also possible that the coup came as a result of internal squabbles between government members. Regardless, before knee-jerk reactions and embedded positions cloud judgement, the events in Niger must be examined closely.

The Initial Events

On July 26, 2023, Niger's Presidency tweeted that the Presidential Guards, commanded by General Abdourahamane Tchiani was engaging in an "anti-Republican demonstration." It noted that Tchiani's forces were unable to obtain the support of other security forces. It stated that the President (Barzoum) was well, since reports had emerged that he was being held inside the Presidential Palace in Niamey.

Documentary: Crimes Against Syria

Brandon Turbeville
August 28, 2023

Brandon's work featured in "Crimes Against Syria."

From Mark Taliano's article, "Video: Crimes Against Syria:"
Washington-led Empire’s criminal war on Syria is a war against civilization itself.

Empire, with its legacy media accomplices, hides behind veils of fabricated lies to commit crimes against children, women, men, Muslims, Christians, minorities, secularism, democracy, and the entire fabric of the sovereign nation of Syria itself.

Empire balkanizes, steals, loots, plunders, and supports terrorism of all kinds, even as it imposes colllective punishment in the form of unilateral coercive measures against those in government-secured areas.

Brandon Turbeville Brief Interview With Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Florence, SC

Brandon Turbeville
August 21, 2023

Despite very little mainstream media coverage of the Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Presidential Campaign, Kennedy is still attracting large in-person crowds as well as large audiences in the podcast world as his run for the Presidential Nominee of the Democratic Party continues. Mr. Kennedy's goal is a lofty one - unseating an incumbent President in a party whose nomination process is notoriously corrupt. But there is no doubt he believes he is up to the challenge and recent polls within the Democratic Party indicate he might be right. Kennedy has consistently polled in the 20% range despite a mainstream media blackout and a refusal by Joe Biden to debate or even acknowledge him.

On August 20, 2023, I had the opportunity to attend a Meet and Greet Townhall campaign event for Robert F. Kennedy Jr. in Florence, SC where I was able to listen to Kennedy's near hour long talk where he touched on almost every aspect of his campaign - his vision for America, the economy, foreign policy, the environment, and the corporate stranglehold over American regulatory agencies. Kennedy also spoke at length about how super wealthy corporations like BlackRock are buying up American homes, driving up housing prices and, as a result, rent as well as depriving American citizens the ability to own their own homes.

With about 75 people in attendance - a decent turnout for a campaign event in Florence, particularly one that has no mainstream media coverage ahead of time - Kennedy was eager to take pictures and talk with every attendee. Kennedy took plenty of time to sign books and discuss specific issues with anyone who had something they wanted to know more about regarding his platform points, his research and activism, or just a word with the candidate himself.

August 19, 2023

After close to a four year hiatus, I have decided to initiate a limited return to the alternative media and return to writing on a variety of topics, both journalistic and creative. This is the first interview I have done in approximately four years and it was an honor to be invited to talk to Melissa of Cutting Through The Matrix, the home of Alan Watt's work and a site I have followed and respected for many years.

Melissa is continuing to keep the site alive with podcasts of her own, additional podcasts from Alan's associates, and reposting of Alan's talks with relevant links attached to the reposting. Alan's work was ahead of its time, groundbreaking, and continues to be revelatory to this day. I highly encourage all of my readers to visit CuttingThroughTheMatrix.com and give Alan's talks a listen as well as the newly added podcasts being posted their on a regular basis.

Yes, We Can End The Ukraine War In 24 Hours - Here's How

Brandon Turbeville
July 17, 2023

As the United States Presidential Primaries are now in full swing, there is much talk about the future of the American-Ukraine-Russian entanglement. Should the United States be sending more assistance to Ukraine? Less? Are we moving fast enough? Should we be moving at all? These are the questions that are beginning to show the dividing lines in both parties between the anti-war and pro-war camps and, thus, the oligarchy’s approved candidates and those who are more outside the acceptable reigns of modern politically established candidates.

I will remind my own readers that, in 2013, when the Obama administration overthrew the Yanukovich Presidency in Ukraine, I wrote numerous articles not only exposing the coup for what it was but also predicting that the color revolution in Ukraine would lead to a confrontation between the United States and Russia on the battlefield of Ukraine. I was criticized for not supporting the “freedom movement” in Ukraine that soon turned into ethnic conflict and civil war. I was then criticized for opposing American “assistance” to Ukraine in the form of money and weaponry as well as training and American military personnel. I was wrong, according to my critics, for not supporting the “underdog” against the alleged aggressor who was bigger and stronger. If only my critics had reacted logically instead of emotionally and in a woefully uninformed manner, perhaps public opinion would have opposed any involvement in Ukraine and much of the needless bloodshed would never have occurred.

That’s doubtful, of course, since public opinion alone rarely makes a difference when the Great Eating Machine is hungry and has decided to march forward with a pre-ordained plan of war or economic destruction.

The vindication I feel for being right in my assessment ten years prior is no match for the disappointment I feel at watching Ukrainians being slaughtered by Russians and other Ukrainians, for Russians being killed by Ukrainians, and for the distinct possibility that American service personnel may soon be experiencing the same fate. It does not make up for the very real threat of World War Three that will effect every man, woman, and child upon the planet this time around. It also does not make up for watching Americans insulted every day by the fact that billions of dollars are routinely shipped to Ukraine while their own country falls apart at the seams.

The War Continues: The Syrian Crisis 2016-2022 Volume 1 by Brandon Turbeville

Activist Post
May 13, 2023

The War Continues picks up where Turbeville’s previous book, Resisting The Empire leaves off – the election of Donald Trump and subsequently Joe Biden.

Beginning in 2016 and the end of the Obama administration, The War Continues takes a detailed look at the Syrian crisis beginning with the election of Donald Trump to the presidency and examines claims of chemical weapons attacks, Kurdish autonomy, geopolitics, and the Deep State.

Turbeville deconstructs a myriad of propaganda tropes including the White Helmets and Assad’s alleged “war on his own people.” Turbeville highlights the failures of Western media outlets to maintain a consistent story on Syria and presents stories and reporting from boots on the ground, both himself and other independent reporters not beholden to corporate media outlets and Western governments.
