Current Conflict In Syria Is Nothing New - Plan Goes Back To 1983

While the majority of Americans have been focused on the spread of COVID-19, they may have missed the fact that Turkey has all but declared a war and invaded Syria. After having dispatched troops to the terrorist haven of Idlib, Syria as the Syrian military engaged in a massive push to liberate the region. Turkey has since come to the rescue of the embattled terrorists, launching drone attacks, airstrikes, and ground forces into Syrian territory.

Turkey established a number of "observation points," that the Syrian military, during the process of liberation early on in the Battle of Idlib, surrounded. The Syrian military did not disturb these posts or harm any Turkish soldiers.

However, that all changed when the Syrian and Russian air forces began bombing terrorist targets. Those airstrikes killed a number of Turkish soldiers who had been embedded with terrorist groups. Turkey then played victim and Erdogan sent more Turkish soldiers and engaged in airstrikes against the Syrian military. Later, another Syrian airstrikes killed yet more Turkish soldiers who were also embedded with terrorists, resulting in a forceful Turkish response of drone attacks and airstrikes and the further progression of Turkish troops onto Syrian soil.

Syria managed to shoot down a number of Turkish drones but other airstrikes have since avoided hits from the Syrian air defenses.

Israel has also stepped up its attacks on Syria, claiming to be targeting "Iranian" assets but really attacking forces assisting Syria in the fight against terrorism. In fact, Israel recently announced that it has a plan to remove Iran from Syria in the next 12 months.

Thus, with Turkey attacking from the North and Israel attacking from the Southwest and, of course, the American troop presence in the Northeast, Syria is now facing a multi-front war."

The strategy being implemented by the Western establishment (here, specifically Turkey and Israel) is identical to the one proposed by the Brookings Institution in its document “Middle East Memo #21: Saving Syria: Assessing Options For Regime Change,” where it says,

Setting off a predictable fire in the Western corporate media, there is now weeping and wailing over the new Trump decision to end the policy of the CIA arming terrorists in Syria. Mainstream outlets are now leaping over themselves to demonize Trump, Assad, Putin, and Russia in general. According to some outlets and analysts, Trump has “fallen into a Russian trap” by directing the CIA to stop funding terrorists. If that sounds ridiculous, it’s because it is.

Still, while the new policy is cause for celebration, the fact is that there is more to the story than what is being reported both in the mainstream and alternative press outlets. Many individuals who have opposed the war in Syria are now celebrating the end of the Syrian war and Trump as an anti-war peacemaker. Others simply do not believe that the change in policy is relevant. The reality, however, is most likely something in between. In order to understand the significance of Trump’s new decision, it is important to look at facts and history so that one may understand the direction in which we are headed in regards to Syria.

The New Policy

President Donald Trump decided to end the CIA’s “covert” program of arming and training terrorists (aka, “Moderate Rebels”) in Syria. The program is set to be phased out over a period of a few months. The western corporate press is, of course, reporting the news as if the family dog just died. Notorious pro-terrorist and pro-war commentator and senior fellow at the Middle East Institute, Charles Lister, even described the decision as a “Russian Trap.”

“We are falling into a Russian trap,” he said. We are making the moderate resistance more and more vulnerable ... We are really cutting them off at the neck.” We assume Lister was not aware of the phrasing of the latter part of his statement given the history of his terrorist friends in Syria since 2011.

CIA Director Pompeo Admits Convincing Trump Over Disproven Chem Weapons Attack In Syria

Ever since the tragic and stupid launch of 59 Tomahawk missiles into Syria by the United States took place in April, the entire incident has been represented as a one man show by the corporate and even by the alternative media. The corporate press, which virtually never gives Trump a break on any issue real or imagined, was strangely approving of The Donald after his war crime while his detractors in the alternative media were presenting the act as that of a madman who is frighteningly close to the red button.

On June 25, veteran journalist Seymour Hersh released a bombshell article revealing a number of facets regarding the alleged chemical attack in Khan Sheykhoun, Syria and the resulting volley of Tomahawk missiles fired by the United States at the al-Sha’aryat airbase in response. Hersh’s article provides the reader with what many of us already knew and wrote about at the time; i.e. that the Syrian military did not conduct a chemical weapons attack and that the United States was fully aware of that fact. Still, the U.S. government opted to use the attack as a justification for launching 59 Tomahawk missiles at a Syrian airbase that resulted in the deaths of Syrian soldiers, civilians, and children from the nearby village.

Hersh’s article shows that not all key personnel were on board with the decision to launch Tomahawk missiles at al-Sha’aryat or even of the whole Syria/Iraq mission. The article reveals real concerns amongst knowledgeable personnel that the Russians will not continue to act as the cooler heads and that Russia has long wanted peace in the region. Most notably, it reveals the fact that there is a “secret agenda” moving forward in regards to Syria, Iraq, and Russia. Hersh’s article also points to the President as the individual who made the decision to launch attacks in Syria, against the advice of the military and intelligence community. In fact, Hersh’s article makes the entire incident appear as if it were the Trump show from beginning to end.

What Is Trump Thinking? President Gives CIA New Authority To Authorize Drone Strikes

The testy nature of the public relationship between Donald Trump and the CIA is well-known with the agency putting forth a number of unproven and laughably ridiculous assertions that Trump is working with Russia as well as the President publicly criticizing the intelligence community for these claims. More serious, however, is the fact that the CIA monitored and essentially ousted former National Security Advisor, Michael Flynn.

So with Trump engaging in a relatively public and behind-the-scenes war with the CIA, it may come as a surprise that Trump has given the agency even more authority to conduct secret drone strikes.

While Barack Obama earned himself the title of “Drone Bomber In Chief,” pressure from human rights groups, activists, and independent media coverage of CIA drones dropping bombs on families, children, wedding parties, and other social gatherings caused enough of a controversy that the administration attempted to mitigate the bad public relations it was getting by allegedly taking away the authority of the CIA to control the drone program and given to the U.S. military. Barack Obama, the Nobel Prize Winner and the left’s favorite warmonger, was well-known for evaluating and approving the “kill list” every morning before beginning his daily performance of receiving worship and fake crying after questionable acts of gun violence. Indeed, during Obama’s term, the President of the United States was perhaps the world’s best known assassin.

But the alleged removal of carte blanche from the hands of the CIA meant nothing. In reality, it only added a few seconds of bureaucracy to the process. The Pentagon also tends to report many of its drone strikes while the CIA does not.

American Corporate MSM Is Merged With CIA And Has Been Since The 1950s

With the recent back and forth seemingly taking place between two different factions of the American Deep State and playing out before the entire country, a few alternative media outlets have begun to question whether or not certain mainstream media outlets are actually connected to the Deep State, most notably the CIA. With an unimaginable scale of disinformation being released and promoted throughout mainstream channels on a daily basis, all propagandizing the public to go along with the desired direction of the American establishment, few could assume otherwise. However, such connections between American mainstream outlets and the CIA are more than mere conjecture, they are well-known and have been documented for some time.

For instance, back in the late 1940’s and early 1950’s, Operation Mockingbird, a plan known to many researchers today but known to virtually no one at the time it was originally being implemented, was a secret CIA effort to influence and control the American media and, thus, to influence and control the information received (as well as the opinions) of the American people. The first report of the program came in 1979 in the biography of Katharine Graham, the owner of The Washington Post, written by Deborah Davis.[1]

Davis wrote that the program was established by Frank Wisner, the director of the Office of Policy Coordination, a covert operations unit created under the National Security Council. According to Davis, Wisner recruited Philip Graham of the Washington Post to head the project within the media industry. Davis wrote that, “By the early 1950s, Wisner 'owned' respected members of The New York Times, Newsweek, CBS and other communications vehicles." Davis also writes that Allen Dulles convinced Cord Meyer, who later became Mockingbird’s “principal operative,” to join the CIA in 1951.[2]

WikiLeaks Release Confirms What “Conspiracy Theorists” Have Known For Years

The recent Wikileaks release is promising to be a much bigger bombshell than anything Edward Snowden ever released. Unlike Snowden, however, the corporate press in the West is not devoting 24/7 coverage with all the bells and whistles of an intentional push to promote the story. Instead, it is largely the alternative and independent press that is giving attention to the recent Wikileaks announcement. Interestingly enough, the mainstream press reports are largely focusing on accusations that Wikileaks has “joined the Trump administration” or that the leaker of the information is a traitor.

As part of a series of leaks regarding the CIA, Wikileaks has released “Vault 7,” containing over 8,000 documents coming from the CIA’s Center For Cyber Intelligence located in Langley.

So far, the 8,000 documents are only part of the first release, “Year Zero,” which reveals the CIA’s “global covert hacking program” and its “weaponized exploits” as well as the fact that it has used these tools against products produced by “Apple's iPhone, Google's Android and Microsoft's Windows and even Samsung TVs, which are turned into covert microphones.”

Wikileaks claims it has received the information from a source inside the CIA’s CCI.

As Zero Hedge writes,

Among the more notable disclosures which, if confirmed, "would rock the technology world", the CIA had managed to bypass encryption on popular phone and messaging services such as Signal, WhatsApp and Telegram. According to the statement from WikiLeaks, government hackers can penetrate Android phones and collect “audio and message traffic before encryption is applied.”

1983 CIA Document Reveals Plan To Destroy Syria, Foreshadows Current Crisis

As the Syrian crisis enters its sixth year, the Donald Trump administration is looking more and more like the Obama administration every day. With the Trump regime refusing to open useful dialogue with Russia regarding Syria, it’s obvious anti-Iran and pro-Israel positioning, and support for a very questionable “safe zone” plan for Syria, the odds of a rational U.S. policy in regards to Syria has lower and lower odds of existence as time progresses.

Yet, despite the fact that the Trump administration is apparently poised to continue the Obama regime’s proxy war of aggression against the people of Syria, an example of seamless transition, it should also be remembered that the plan to destroy Syria did not begin with Obama but with the Bush administration.

Even now, as the world awaits the continuation of the Syrian war through a Democratic and Republican administration, the genesis of that war goes back to the Republican Bush administration demonstrating that there is indeed an overarching agenda and an overarching infrastructure of an oligarchical deep state intent on moving forward regardless of which party is seemingly in power.

After CIA Micro-Coup, Trump Suddenly Wants Russia To Give Up Crimea, Thinks Obama Was 'Too Soft'

Only a day after an apparent micro coup conducted by elements within the CIA and U.S. intelligence apparatus, it appears that, if the CIA’s goal was to convince President Donald Trump that moves toward rapprochement with Russia would not be tolerated and that forces greater than Trump are in control of U.S. policy, that mission has been accomplished.

Despite a campaign of seemingly more rational foreign policy promises not to start World War Three, on the evening of February 14, mainstream headlines announced that Trump is now claiming that Crimea was “taken” by Russia and that Russia should give the region back to Ukraine.

"President Trump has made it very clear that he expects the Russian government to deescalate violence in the Ukraine and return Crimea,” said White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer on Tuesday. Trump then later tweeted on Wednesday, February 15, “Crimea was TAKEN by Russia during the Obama Administration. Was Obama too soft on Russia?”

As is typical, senile warmonger John McCain, who is well-known for abandoning U.S. POW’s in Vietnam and supporting every single military action ever put on the table including supporting actual terrorists, joined in a chorus of war fervor, urging Trump to “let's take a different course together: give defensive lethal assistance to #Ukraine & keep sanctions on #Russia.”

Trump’s rhetoric on the campaign, mere hinting at the fact that the United States under a Trump administration might consider removing the idiotic and aggressive sanctions put in place under Obama, are now directly at odds with his behavior and decisions as President.

Did The CIA Just Stage A Micro-Coup Against Trump Administration?

In a surprising turn, it has been announced that National Security Advisor Michael Flynn has resigned from his post after allegations surrounding his “inappropriate” contact with Russian officials and his subsequent admission of providing “incomplete” information to the President and Vice President regarding that contact. The resignation takes place amide FBI investigations into Flynn’s phone calls with the Russian ambassador and weeks after the Justice Department sent a warning letter to the Trump administration regarding the potential for Flynn to be subject to blackmail if the allegations were true.

In addition, the U.S. Army was reportedly investigating Flynn for his possible acceptance of Russian money during trips made to Russia in the past.

Of the less hysterical reports, Yahoo News at least attempted to refrain from channelling the ghost of Joe McCarthy. For that reason, it’s article “Conway: Flynn Resigned Because He’d Become ‘A Lighting Rod,’” can be used as a sample of how corporate media outlets are trying to portray the resignation, minus the hyperbole. It reads,

National security adviser Michael Flynn has resigned following reports he misled Vice President Mike Pence about contacts with a Russian diplomat, up-ending President Donald Trump's White House team less than a month after his inauguration. 

In a resignation letter, Flynn said he gave Pence and others "incomplete information" about his calls with Russia's ambassador to the U.S. The vice president, apparently relying on information from Flynn, initially said the national security adviser had not discussed sanctions with the Russian envoy, though Flynn later conceded the issue may have come up. 

Syria Ambassador Reveals Names Of Alleged Western/Saudi/GCC Intelligence Agents Trapped In East Aleppo

While the United States has harped for over five years about the “humanitarian crisis” and manufactured Syrian government “crimes against humanity,” the recent hysteria over “civilians” trapped in East Aleppo has really taken the cake. Now, however, after hearing about how Assad has “barrel bombed,” “tortured,” “burned alive,” and otherwise maimed civilians in East Aleppo (who are themselves committing mass suicide to evade Syrian government forces according to mainstream outlets), the real reason for the increase in hysteria has finally come to light.

The real reason for America’s concern is not because of civilians at all or even because of their terrorist proxies who will soon be totally annihilated in East Aleppo. It is because their own intelligence officers are stuck in East Aleppo, completely surrounded by Syrian military forces, and their capture will not only weaken the Western operation in the country, it will reveal to the world what most already know – that the U.S. and its allies are working hand-in-glove with the terrorists it claims are moderates.

This is precisely what Syria’s ambassador to the United Nations, Dr. Bashar al-Ja’afari, stated when he released the names of these intelligence officers in an address before reporters at the U.N. After a sarcastic remark about how the operatives were “nice people,” a reporter asked about the list of intelligence operatives. Ja’afari then again sarcastically corrected her by saying “No. No. They are Syrian moderate opposition. Genetically modified.”

What The Hell Is Happening In Turkey?

With Turkey now undergoing the largest military/governmental purge in modern history, the question of Turkey’s future in terms of its domestic stability and structure is in flux and the possibilities facing the world, especially Syria, in regards to any changes of Turkish foreign policy are shaky as well. But even as the question of Syria’s future remains, what about who initiated the coup? Who was behind it? Why was it launched? In other words, what in the hell is happening in Turkey?

Unfortunately, there is not a clear answer to this question. There is, however, context into which we may place the situation for a better understanding of the possibilities and the potential directions of Turkey’s and, as a result, the Middle East’s future. Indeed, what is happening in Turkey will have reverberations that span across the globe in every direction.

The first thing that one must be aware of when discussing the crisis in Turkey is that Turkish politics, like internal politics of most nations but especially those of Middle Eastern countries and those with heavily fractured elements of political, ethnic, religious, and historical/imperial baggage, is extremely complex. While forces at the top of the pyramid may control the direction of the country, at the operative level, there are several different factions in motion in Turkey. Even within branches of the Turkish governmental structure, factions are a major issue that must be considered for any amount of analysis.

CIA Director Discusses Geoengineering At CFR Event

In late June 2016, CIA director John O. Brennan appeared at the Council on Foreign Relations to give a brief talk and take questions from members of the council.

The discussion was designed to address threats to national and global security as well as world stability. Among the threats that Brennan discusses are of course the usual suspects like ISIS and biological warfare, but interestingly enough, Brennan focused heavily on the rapid change and development of technology.

First mentioning the potential for cyber attacks, hacking, and other types of disruptions to the governmental, military and civilian infrastructure of the world, Brennan also mentioned the “problem” of an aging population due to increased longevity as well as the potential for the creation of genetically engineered bacteria to be used for biological warfare purposes. But what has raised many eyebrows is Brennan’s discussion of geoengineering.

While Brennan did not state that geoengineering was currently being conducted, he did go into some discussion about the possibility of geoengineering in the near future.

Brennan stated,

Another example is the array of technologies—often referred to collectively as geoengineering—that potentially could help reverse the warming effects of global climate change. One that has gained my personal attention is stratospheric aerosol injection, or SAI, a method of seeding the stratosphere with particles that can help reflect the sun’s heat, in much the same way that volcanic eruptions do.

New "CIA Officer Whistleblowing' Video Wreaks Of Disinfo

Making quite the circuit on the internet landscape is a new video purporting to show a former CIA agent speaking out against the manner in which the “war on terror” is prosecuted and portrayed to the American public. The video has been shared and discussed thousands of times particularly within the alternative media community as evidence that the “war on terror” is one big snowball of bad decisions and blowback.

The video, is a short clip of an interview conducted by AJ+ with Amaryllis Fox, a former CIA Clandestine Services Officer, who makes a number of claims during the three minute clip that range from the reasonable to the absurd. While many alternative media outlets have hailed Fox’s video as “brave” and Fox herself as a whistleblower, it would be wise to analyze her statements for what they are as opposed to praising them simply because they are being presented as “anti-establishment.”

Fox makes a surprising amount of claims for three minutes and she also manages to conflate issues, concepts, and people in a cleverly designed monologue that is clearly scripted for effect.

Fox begins by saying,

As mainstream media organizations continue to be afire with reports regarding the recent Orlando shooting, a number of details are escaping the public consciousness that might point to an even more sinister motivation for the killing of 50 innocent people at the Pulse nightclub. Most notably, that the attack could very well have been orchestrated by the FBI and other relevant U.S. intelligence agencies in order to guide public opinion, galvanize the American people, and for other “political” purposes.

Indeed, in my article “5 Reasons To Question The Official Story Of The Orlando Shooting,” I listed a number of questionable aspects regarding the shooting such as the fact that the FBI was well aware of Omar Mateen, his ideology, and his potential violence years before the attack yet did nothing as well as the fact that this father is a Taliban-supporting TV host from Afghanistan. I also pointed out that Mateen himself had connections to a known ISIS recruiter and suicide bomber. In addition, I discussed the FBI’s history in relation to creating terrorist attacks in order to “bust” them and subsequently take the credit for stopping terrorist attacks.

FBI Foreknowledge, ISIS Sympathies, Taliban Ties

What may at first sound like an instance of senseless violence brings with it a number of other questions. For instance, the FBI was already well aware of Mateen and his connections to radical jihad and terrorism. According to CNN’s article, “50 Killed in Florida Nightclub, Shooter Pledged ISIS Allegiance,” two officials tell CNN that the FBI had investigated Mateen at some point for possibly having ties to or sympathizing with Islamic extremism. A law enforcement official said there were two cases opened involving Mateen but the probes didn’t result in enough evidence to charge him with anything.

Former Al-Qaeda Operative Claims Qaeda/ISIS Run By The CIA

More evidence has been entered into the files of public record that terrorist organizations such as al-Qaeda, ISIS, and the al-Nusra Front are completely controlled by the CIA and other Western intelligence agencies.

In fact, according to Nabil Na’eem, founding member of the Islamic Democratic Jihad Party and a former commander of al-Qaeda, all current al-Qaeda affiliates are nothing more than offshoots of an overarching CIA terror operation. He also claimed that these groups will eventually be turned against Saudi Arabia, despite the fact that Saudi Arabia has acted as a bankroller and facilitator for them for years on end.

Na’eem made his statements during the course of an interview with al-Maydeen , a Beirut-based news agency that serves a number of countries in the Middle East. The interview was translated by Arabi Souri of Syria News.

Na’eem first referenced the Project For A New American Century and the Bernard Lewis plan to break up the Middle East, re-establish national boundaries, and create a region made up of petty squabbling and weak “micro-states and mini-states” when he stated the following:
