EU Court Rules UK Secret Court Not A Rights Violation

Activist Post
October 20, 2015

Never known for its respect for human rights and civil liberties, the European Court of Human Rights has once again demonstrated that secret hearings, detentions without trial and other violations of individual rights are well within the scope of the European Union. On October 20th, the ECHR in Strasbourg dismissed a claim by three Pakistani students who were detained in the UK for nearly two weeks while the UK courts held closed sessions regarding their arrest warrants.

The UK courts argued for its secrecy on the grounds of national security. The three students: Sultan Sher, Mohammed Rizwan Sharif and Mohammed Umer Farooq were arrested and held by police after authorities launched a series of “anti-terror raids” across Northwest England in April 2009. All three men were on student visas were held for 13 days. All three were released without charge.

All three students were brought before a court two times during the process in which warrants for further detention were granted. The students claimed they were denied “any open adversarial process” and the ECHR apparently agreed with them. And the ECHR agreed that some evidence being presented against them had been withheld from them. The court also pointed out that one hearing was even held in closed session for a short time.

Still, the ECHR ruled that the UK courts did not violate the rights of these students to lawful detention or in the manner in which the searches took place.

On April 21, 2009, all three men were released without charge, though they were served with deportation orders. They returned voluntarily to Pakistan in September of that year.

English Town Takes To Streets Against Fluoride In Water

October 20, 2015

The streets of Bedford, England was the scene of an anti-fluoride campaign on Saturday, October 17 throughout the streets teams of activists with Fluoride Free Bedford were carrying clipboards and information packets to educate and encourage shoppers and passersby as to the dangers of forced water-fluoridation and their petition to stop it.

Fluoride Free Bedford has been calling for an end to water fluoridation since 2002 yet their new impetus for action comes as a newly elected group of councilors have taken office.

Cynthia Bagchi, Fluoride Free Bedford coordinator, stated:
We want to stimulate discussion throughout Bedford and to stun councilors, to show them the huge amount of support there is from people who don’t want fluoride in their water supply.
She also stated:
It’s about educating ourselves and each other. The government isn’t doing it and nor is the counsel, they are just covering up the truth.
The water in Bedford borough had been fluoridated for about 40 years but in 2009 the process was temporarily suspended in order so that improvement and repairs could be made on the area’s water treatment plant. Fluoride Free Bedford is attempting to ensure that fluoride does not return.

The activists are frustrated because in 2011 the Bedford Borough Council voted unanimously to cease water-fluoridation – a proposal that was submitted by major Dave Hodgson. Still, no action was actually taken.

Russia Intercepts Israeli Jets; Threatens Shootdown: Report

October 19, 2015

According to reports by Lebanese, Iranian, and Israeli media, the Russian Air Force recently intercepted Israeli aircraft flying over Lebanon near the Syrian border. The reports coming from these news sources claim that the Russians informed the Israelis that they were approaching Russian-controlled airspace and that they would be shot down if they did not change course. The Israelis complied.

The Israeli planes were apparently flying over the Akkar region of northern Lebanon.

Iranian media has reported that the Israeli mission was to spy on Russian ships currently docked at the port of Tartus in Syria.

The Iranian outlet, al-Alam, also reported that the Israelis were attempting to spy on Russian planes flying out of the Latakia air base and to determine whether or not the Russians are providing arms to Hezbollah.

Although in September the Russians and the Israelis reached an agreement regarding the airspace over Syria so as not to experience any unintended clashes between the two air forces, the Israelis have still poked and prodded at the outskirts of Russian-controlled air space on a number of occasions, prompting the Russians to respond by ordering them out of the area.

McDonald’s Turns Teachers Into Walking Billboards, Profits Off Children And Schools

October 19, 2015

There are times when a corporation comes up with a marketing strategy that is so aggressive you just have to ask “why?”

Unsurprisingly, this is exactly what McDonald’s has done with its recent McTeacher’s Program, a clever act of marketing that involves enlisting schoolteachers as employees and walking billboards placed in school buildings.

McTeachers “employs” volunteer teachers during evening hours as a fundraising event. Students, parents, and other supporters are urged to patronize McDonald’s on the evenings their teacher is “working” so everyone can see their teachers serve up “hamburgers, shakes, and fries.”

McDonald’s USA claims that schools typically receive between 10 and 20 percent of proceeds toward their fundraiser. Some of it depends on the participating franchises.

This program, however, has drawn the ire of a number of parents, education, and teachers organizations as well as corporate and education watchdog groups. These groups agree that the program essentially turns teachers into walking billboards for McDonald’s and that it promotes an unhealthy diet and consumption of fast food.

Corporate Accountability International and Campaign For A Commercial-Free Childhood stated:

Despite Shooting Attacks On U.S. Soldiers, Government Says No Guns For You

In the wake of a number of mass shootings aimed at military personnel, most recently in July where five U.S. service members were killed in Chattanooga, Tennessee, many lawmakers have called for more open rules as to who can carry weapons on a military base. In other words, many lawmakers have realized the danger of keeping U.S. service personnel unarmed particularly when they have obviously become targets on a number of different occasions.

For this reason, negotiators have been working on the fiscal 2016 Defense Authorization bill to include language that will allow commanders of military installations more authority and choice over who is able to carry “an appropriate firearm” or “some personal weapons.”

Lawmakers in support of the new proposed rules have written in a report that “(we) remain concerned about the response times to active shooter attacks on U.S. military installations and facilities. Commanders should take steps to arm additional personnel…if they believe that arming those personnel will contribute to that goal.”

But while advocates of the proposed rules and pro-gun activists and organizations like the National Rifle Association are applauding the attempt, it would be wise not to get excited just yet.

The provisions require the Secretary of Defense to establish the relevant policy by the end of the year. This poses two problems.

U.S. Warns Russia Of “Reprisal Attacks” … Russia Foils Attempted “Reprisal Attacks”

October 14, 2015

In yet another “coincidence” that many would suggest is an example of the direct control over international terror networks by NATO and the U.S., only days after U.S. Secretary of Defense Ashton Carter warned Russia that it would see reprisal terror attacks within its borders as a result of the Russian intervention in Syria, Russian authorities have announced the disruption of a plot to conduct bombings of Russian railway systems by jihadist terrorists.

Last Thursday, in a meeting with NATO Defense Ministers in Brussels, Carter stated that “They have initiated a joint ground offensive with the Syrian regime, shattering the facade that they are there to fight Isil [Isis]. This will have consequences for Russia itself, which is rightly fearful of attacks. In coming days, the Russians will begin to suffer from casualties.”

While many may have interpreted Carter’s words as referring to the Syrian battleground and the resistance the Russians may face there, others are convinced that Carter’s statement was much broader, perhaps referring to “reprisal attacks” on Russian soil.

Only four days after his statement, Russian police announced that they had foiled a terrorist plot aimed at the destruction and bombing of Russia’s public transport system. The terrorists involved in the plot allegedly received training in ISIS training camps located in Syria and were associated with the ISIS organization.

As the Guardian reported on October 12,

Information about the alleged terrorists remained murky on Monday evening. An official statement from the FSB said only that a raid had taken place on an apartment where between six and 11 people lived, “some of whom have been through combat training in Islamic State camps in Syria.” The FSB said they were all Russian citizens.

Hillary Clinton: The Killing Of Ghaddafi And The Destruction Of Libya

Image result for the difference it makes 36 reasons hillary clinton should never be presidentBrandon Turbeville
October 13, 2015

While Clinton’s demented reaction to Ghaddafi’s death was revealing, her actual contribution to it was not only immoral and illegal, it was treasonous.

Remember, it was Hillary Clinton, along with her State Department staff such as Susan Rice and Victoria Nuland who were out in front building up the case for war against Libya, a “UN Resolution," and support for the terrorists attempting to overthrow the Libyan leader.

In fact, in an article entitled “Hillary’s War: How Conviction Replaced Skepticism In Libya Intervention,” the Washington Post’s Joby Warrick describes how Clinton provided yeomen’s service in the effort to build an “international coalition” against Libya and Ghaddafi and how she worked overtime to see to it that the nation with the highest living standards in Africa was reduced to a burning desert of rubble and savagery.[1]

Even the Huffington Post was forced to admit that Hillary Clinton was one of the main forces promoting the war in Libya, while also fairly pointing out that Clinton was one of many in the US State Department and other governing bodies who supported the same.[2]

Clinton would stop at no lengths to push the United States into yet another war. Clinton would even go so far as to give support to the propaganda line that Ghaddafi was using rape and sexual violence to intimidate and oppress Libyan women.[3]

As Russia Bombs ISIS, US Bombs Syrian Civilian Power Stations

russiaamericaBrandon Turbeville
Activist Post
October 12, 2015

In yet another telling episode, the United States has again demonstrated its true position in regards to ISIS and the Russian bombing of the terrorist organization.

As Russian forces drop bombs and missiles on top of ISIS fighters all across Syria, lobbing cruise missiles from the Caspian, regular sortie missions, and combat helicopter attacks against ISIS and other “relatively moderate” cannibals and terrorists, the United States launched a bombing mission of its own against two power plants Aleppo.

The power plants were located in al-Rudwaniya east of Aleppo and resulted in power outages affecting the Syrian people, adding to the American tradition of bombing civilian infrastructure instead of ISIS and other terrorist targets in Syria. The power outages only further contribute to the misery surrounding the people of Aleppo who have been bombarding by barbarians funded by the United States and NATO, intent of raping and beheading their way through the city and declaring their caliphate of pre-civilization on civilized people.

It should also be noted that the US bombing campaign is a violation of international law, unlike the Russian campaign where Russian forces were invited in to the country by the legitimate government.

The United States has long maintained that its bombing campaign was directed at ISIS but, to date, very little damage has been done to ISIS structures, facilities, or personnel by any American airstrikes. Only when ISIS fighters are threatening a Western interest (i.e. an oil well owned by a Western company) or when NATO has been unable to simply redirect ISIS forces via embedded or proxy commanders do terrorists actually find themselves bombarded by what is, in reality, an act of “death squad herding.”

Brzezinski’s “Retaliation” Agenda: Break Up Russia And Absorb It

Brandon Turbeville
Activist Post
October 9, 2015

When the dark lord of the Anglo-American empire, Zbigniew Brzezinski, stated that the United States should retaliate against Russia as a result of the latter ruining the former’s credibility in the Middle East (which the U.S. needed no help in doing), the world got a glimpse into just how far the ruling elite is willing to take the world’s population in its quest for total hegemony.

After all, Brzezinski is no mere talking head or media mouthpiece. He is the architect of al-Qaeda and controller of much of the American geopolitical strategy. When he states that retaliation must be part of U.S. strategy, there is a very real possibility that it will be.

Indeed, in order to understand much of the U.S. geopolitical strategy at work today, it might serve us well to consult the work Brzezinski in his book The Grand Chessboard: American Primacy And Its Geostrategic Imperatives.

It should be remembered that it was in this very book that Brzezinski uttered the famous statement that “America is too democratic at home to be autocratic abroad. This limits the use of America’s power, especially its capacity for military intimidation. Never before has a populist democracy attained international supremacy. But the pursuit of power is not a goal that commands popular passion, except in conditions of a sudden threat or challenge to the public’s sense of domestic well-being.”[1]

The book, written in 1997, seemed to lament the fact that the public would not support such blatant imperialism unless they truly viewed the crusade to be in their own immediate self-interest. Only fours year later, the public would receive such a “sudden threat or challenge” to their “sense of domestic well-being” in the form of the 9/11 attacks.

Hillary Clinton: We Came. We Saw. He Died.

Image result for the difference it makes 36 reasons hillary clinton should never be presidentBrandon Turbeville
October 2, 2015

Perhaps one of the most sadistic and psychopathic displays of an American official, Hillary Clinton’s cackling response to a question regarding the death of Ghaddafi and the US role in the destruction of Libya certainly deserves honorable mention.[1]

Clinton’s remark was a paraphrase of a quote from Julius Caesar after he concluded his war with Pharnaces II of Pontus: “Veni, vidi, vici” (“I came, I saw, I conquered’).[2]

Ghaddafi’s murder had just taken place with the Libyan leader – a true leader in the fight against Islamic terrorism and who had increased the living standards of the average Libyan to some of the highest in Africa – being sodomized with a bayonet, beaten, and eventually executed.[3]

The statement, along with her signature cackle revealed the depths of depravity in which Clinton dwells as well as a glimpse of her obvious psychosis and psychopathy.[4]

Brzezinski Calls For ‘Retaliation’ Against Russia For Fighting ISIS

BrzezinskiBrandon Turbeville

October 6, 2015

The leading anti-Russian figure of the Anglo-American establishment and geopolitical chess player, Zbigniew Brzezinski, has recently declared in an op-ed for the Financial Times that the United States should “retaliate” against Russia for its actions in Syria, even going so far as military action to do so.

Brzezinski argues that the recent Russian involvement in Syria puts American credibility and global reputation at stake and suggests that such a situation is intolerable. Brzezinski wrote that Russian attacks against what he and the U.S. State Department have labeled as the “non-ISIS” targets and “rebels backed by the United States” at best reflects “Russian military incompetence” and at worst signals “evidence of a dangerous desire to highlight American political impotence.”

"In these rapidly unfolding circumstances the U.S. has only one real option if it is to protect its wider stakes in the region: to convey to Moscow the demand that it cease and desist from military actions that directly affect American assets," he wrote.

"But, better still, Russia might be persuaded to act with the U.S. in seeking a wider accommodation to a regional problem that transcends the interests of a single state," he added later.

Brzezinski hinted that Russia was engaged in a “new form of neocolonial domination” and offered up his assessment of the geopolitical situation when he stated

Has Russia Declared A “No-Float Zone” In Syria?

October 6, 2015

While brazen psychopaths like Hillary Clinton and warmongers like Marco Rubio call for a No-Fly Zone in Syria, it appears that Russia has declared a “No-Go Zone” of its own. The Russian version, however, consists of a “No-Float Zone” and is located off the coast of Syria.

The “No-Float Zone” as Ziad Fadel of Syrian Perspective has labeled it, is focused on the Mediterranean sea, with ships already within the vicinity of the Mediterranean preparing to meet with those currently based in the Black Sea but who are now heading into the Mediterranean. Both ships and reconnaissance vessels are reportedly prepared to establish a “No-Float Zone” to serve as protection for approximately 140,000 Russian troops that appear to be heading to Syria.

Fadel reports,

Russian warships and reconnaissance vessels are speeding out of the Black Sea into the Mediterranean as I write. The ships will establish a no float zone for any ships trying to interdict the arrival of over 140,000 Russian soldiers at the ports of Tartous and Latakia. Moreover, it appears Russian aircraft are increasing sorties over Syria and have crossed the border into Turkey in pursuit of Erdoghan’s murderous criminals. The decision to increase Russia’s role in the conflict was not made yesterday, as Waleed Mu’allim, Syria’s Foreign Minister, stated in an interview. This was, as I reported, a plan that had been drawn up by General Gerasimov and his assistants years ago. The only impediments were Syria’s obsession with keeping foreign boots off Syrian soil and the assurances from Syrian Army generals that the war would be over by now without foreign intervention. Dr. Assad has made the intelligent and courageous decision to set aside Ba’athist fears of occupation and bring Russia fully into the conflict.

Officially, Russia has not announced the troop movement. However, unofficially, it is appears that troop movements are being prepared. For instance, Sputnik recently reported that Putin has signed an order to draft over 147,000 soldiers into the Russian military.

Effort To Recall Vaccine Senator Pan Underway In California

Even though the effort to repeal S.B. 277 in California has officially failed, possibly due to what many suggest may have been a concerted act at sabotage, another “repeal” effort is taking place in the golden state. This time, however, it is not a bill that is the target, but a senator.

California Senator Pan, one of the main sponsors of S.B. 277, is now facing a recall effort begun at the grassroots level by a number of California citizens who find his corporate pandering, political corruption, and violation of parental rights to no longer be tolerable.

The website, RecallPan.com, as well as the movement, is made up of a number of diverse individuals and groups that oppose Pan for very diverse reasons, all united for the purpose of seeing the corporate Senator removed from the position that he has so blatantly abused.

RecallPan writes,

The Recall Pan Campaign is grassroots and non partisan, and is comprised of Californians from all walks of life. It is a diverse group, that spans many different political affiliations, religions, and professions. This diverse group came together to remove Senator Richard Pan, as we feel he is no longer qualified to represent this District, or the State of California.

6 Reasons Why Russia Cares So Much About Syria

October 6, 2015

As the potential for direct military confrontation between the United States/NATO and Russia in Syria escalates by the day, the vast majority of Americans have little clue why the Russians would have ever become involved in the crisis to begin with. Undoubtedly, most of them believe what they are told through the mainstream media – that Russia is yet again acting aggressively in its plans for total world domination and the establishment of the Fourth Reich.

For many observers in the alternative media, the understanding of the Russian move is somewhat more sophisticated but still substantially lacking. For instance, while some simply oppose the Russian involvement on the basis of not wanting to see any further escalation, others heap lavish praise upon Putin for his decisions and present the Russian president as the potential leader for the world. At times, the adulation borders on the cult of personality, a dangerous situation regardless of the pure motives of the individual at the center of worship.

It is true that, in the recent geopolitical back and forth that has been taking place between Russia and the West, the Russians have acted entirely in self-defense and that is has been entirely the West that has provoked the current tensions. Indeed, in the context of Syria, Iran, and Ukraine, Russia has clearly stood on the right side of history while the United States and NATO move further and further in the opposite direction.

However, while Russia has indeed acted and continues to act as a savior in Syria, Iran, and Ukraine, it is important to note that Russian foreign policy is not an act of charity and that, ultimately, Putin’s concern is centered with the fate of Russia. Whatever the world wishes to see Putin do in Syria will be subject to the geopolitical, national, and domestic interest of Russia, a stance once can scarcely criticize any national leader for maintaining.

Sink or Swim, Preparation Is Key: Observations From the SC Flood

prepareBrandon Turbeville

Natural Blaze
October 6, 2015

As the flood waters began to rise in South Carolina, so did the level of awareness that the vast majority of South Carolinians were wholly unprepared for such a disaster.

As the flood crisis got under way, South Carolina saw its major cities inundated with so much water that city centers were unnavigable without a boat, coastal areas saw houses collapse, and both city and rural areas saw roads wash out completely. With dams bursting and bridges washing away, local governments, citizens, and emergency management personnel clearly had their hands full. Most of them, to their credit, did their jobs well enough with the resources they had, despite the violation of rights by some local administrations.

Still, we can learn at least three lessons from the recent flooding in South Carolina.
A very small minority of people are equipped to deal with an emergency in a competent fashion.
A slightly larger number of people attempt to be prepared but fall short if the emergency persists.
The vast majority of people are wholly unprepared for even a slight disturbance in their usual routine or living conditions.

While this statement may come as basic common sense to the majority of my usual readers, such observations do bear repeating. Indeed, it is important to remind ourselves of just how unprepared we may be, even though we may be more prepared than most of the rest of the population.

Many of those who are aware of the possibility of an economic collapse, general war, electrical grid failure, or simple natural disasters are aware through available literature of how human behavior will adjust to the new circumstances if a crisis takes place. Although much of what “preppers” are confronted with in terms of information often borders on the state of panic and fear, it is true that what is at first a tranquil community of friends and neighbors can very quickly turn into a violent mob and dangerous enemies fighting over finite resources.

From Curfews To Mandatory Evacuations, Police State In View During SC Flood

As the flood waters began to rise in South Carolina, so did the level of awareness that the vast majority of South Carolinians were wholly unprepared for such a disaster. But local governments have also proven themselves unprepared, poorly prioritized, and inept and dealing with the destruction left by a historic amount of rainfall over the Palmetto state.

Most of them, to their credit, did their jobs well enough with the resources they had.

However, as has now become typical, local governments immediately began racing the flood waters to see which could become the greatest threat to the people of South Carolina.

While the waters were by far the greatest danger to the lives of South Carolinians, there was another threat looming over South Carolina that will have much long-lasting effects than the flood. While water has no concern for citizen’s rights, it is unfortunate that neither do many local South Carolina governments who began imposing “curfews” and “mandatory evacuations” in the midst of the crisis.

To be clear, those who decided to joy ride in the midst of the flood were taking chances with their lives. Yet, local government imposition of curfews is a drastic response to the threat of individual citizens endangering themselves. An individual has a right to travel, regardless of the weather or threat that is posed to their own lives by the act of traveling. Local governments in South Carolina, however, seem to think that the right to travel is subject to suspension when in conflict with the wishes of said government and emergency personnel.

Soros-Backed NGO Fakes Photos To Blame Russia For Dead Civilians

Are you ready for a big surprise? Another Soros-connected pro-terrorist NGO in Syria has been caught red-headed faking evidence of “crimes against humanity” allegedly committed by forces who stand in opposition to the goals of the NATO/U.S. ruling elite.

Ok. Well, maybe it is not a big surprise. In fact, it is not a surprise at all given that, ever since the Syrian crisis began (and in the time leading up to the crisis), NGOs have been on the ground in Syria stirring up jihadist resentment against the secular government of Bashar al-Assad and fabricating “crimes” committed by that government.

The only new development here is that the NGO, Soros-connected “White Helmets,” are claiming that the Russians are the humanitarian criminals.

The White Helmets, who are decidedly pro-“opposition,” pro-terrorist, and pro-Nusra, recently released pictures on its Twitter account purporting to show the aftermath of the Russian bombing campaign against ISIS and assorted terrorists launched on September 30. “Russia strike in Homs today. 33 civilians killed including 3 children and 1 @SyriaCivilDef volunteer” the caption read.

Putin Calls Out U.S. At U.N. Summit: “Do You Realize Now What You Have Done?”

October 2, 2015

While the incessant propaganda being levelled at Russia and Russian President Vladmir Putin from the West continues, it is nonetheless understood that the UN summit that took place only a few days ago was a public relations defeat for the United States and Barack Obama. Whatever side one wishes to take, it was clear that Putin’s speech outshined Obama’s on every front and the United States left the event with yet another black eye on the reputation and credibility of a country that could have been the envy of the world, but is now viewed by the rest of the world as a petulant, albeit, very dangerous child.

Although Obama’s oratory skills (at least when a working teleprompter is present) are known far and wide, Putin’s classic slouch and steady speech proved to be too much for the Nobel Prize winner to overcome. Indeed, it was not Obama’s oratory that failed at the UN summit, it was what Obama represents. In other words, it was the U.S. reputation and credibility that collapsed in New York. Although Obama himself represents that failure, it has finally reached the point where no amount of impressive oration can repair what the United States has broken throughout its history, especially in the last 15 years.

Indeed, unfortunately for Obama, that ship had sailed long before he ever reached Manhattan.

Yet you wouldn’t know that from the reaction in the Western press, who present a victorious Obama who confronted Russian aggression from the Summit floor in front of the world, calling Putin out for “prolonging the war,” supporting a “brutal dictator,” stealing territory, and pushing across Europe.

As is the case with most reports coming from the mainstream western press, however, that representation couldn’t further from the truth.

For that reason, the entire speech by Putin is provided below so that Western readers will have the opportunity to read it in full as opposed to small snippets and soundbytes.

From Syria To Asia To Russia – Terror Network Organized By NATO And Turkey

UN Grey WolvesBrandon Turbeville
October 1, 2015

Uyghur Terror Networks Span Continents, Have Root In Turkey and NATO.

With the possible entrance of China into the Syrian crisis, a spate of recent articles has appeared in various media outlets discussing the importance of Uyghur terrorism in China and the effect those acts may have on its decision whether or not to truly commit troops or other means of assistance to the Syrian government. These discussions, however, have typically been superfluous and tangential, rarely attributing the importance of the connections between the Syrian crisis and the Xinjang Uyghur separatist movement.

While many might suspect at first glance that the two crises are unrelated, the fact is that the same powers that control the savages raping and beheading their way across Syria also control the Uyghur “separatists” wreaking havoc in Xinjang China.

Indeed, Uyghur terrorists have been playing an increasingly large role in Syria. Aside from fighting in and alongside terrorists from other locations, Uyghurs have also fought in their own Uyghur brigades.

The Settler Issue

Jisr al-Shughour, a town located in Idlib province in Syria and about twelve miles away from the border with Turkey, has been the scene of at least two massacres by Western-backed terrorists – one in 2011 and the other occurring this year in 2015. In the second massacre, most of the killers were Chechen. However, after the massacre of the indigenous Syrians took place, hundreds of Uyghur families were moved in to “resettle” the town. As Afraa Dagher, a political analyst from Syria wrote,
