United Nations Censors Debate, Promotes Terrorists In Syria

Ever since the beginning of the Syrian crisis in 2011, the Western corporate media has been alight with insidious and downright absurd propaganda regarding the nature of the Syrian government, military, society, and, of course, its President. In Europe and Australia the propaganda has been heavily pushed as well. However, while the independent and alternative media have thoroughly debunked much of the propaganda coming from states such as the United States, UK, Germany, and Australia, little has been said of the propaganda coming from the United Nations.

Unfortunately, the U.N. has a reputation among many people of being a voice and a vehicle for peace. However, the United Nations is anything but and instead has played an active role in the destabilization, breaking, and destruction of states in the aim of the same agenda that has taken full hold of governments in the West.

One such example of U.N. propaganda is the incessant droning on regarding the humanitarian catastrophe in East Ghouta while nothing but the sound of crickets comes from the U.N. in regards to the humanitarian condition of Damascus or virtually anywhere in Syria where terrorists occupy or have occupied.

This latest hypocrisy and obvious double standard in regards to situation in East Ghouta vs the situation in Damascus and other areas under siege by terrorists is both stunning and revealing. Take, for instance, the recent statement by the UNICEF Regional Director for the Middle East and North Africa, Geert Cappelaere entitled “The War On Children In Syria: Reports Of Mass Casualties Among Children In Eastern Ghouta And Damascus.” This statement stands as one of the least professional statements of “outrage” ever made on the part of a UN staff attempting to use emotion and marketing techniques to nudge public opinion to the anti-Assad narrative and support some heavier sustained “isolation” of the Assad government.

New U.N. Report Cites Terrorists, Blames Assad For Chemical Weapons With No Real Evidence

The United Nations is marching ahead with its task of acting as the Anglo-Financier administrative arm of the world corporate-financier government structure with its recent “report” aimed at the Syrian government. According to Western corporate media outlets who are reporting the story with unconcealable glee, the United Nations “war crimes investigators” produced a report blaming the Syrian government for chemical weapons attacks at Khan Sheikhoun and nearly two dozen other incidents (Access the report here).

The United Nations team stated that there had been 33 incidents investigated. 27 were the fault of the Syrian government and perpetrators had not yet been identified in the other seven. In other words, all of the alleged chemical weapons incidents were the fault of the Syrian government except for the ones they have yet to determine.

However, there are many problems with the stance of the report, its methodology, and its purpose.

The UN Investigative Apparatus Is Not Unbiased

It is important to remember that, whatever the UN may be, it is not impartial or unbiased, particularly when it comes to Syria. Whether it is delisting Saudi Arabia as “parties that kill or maim children” due to KSA’s threat to remove money from the organization to producing phony reports against the Syrian government, the United Nations has demonstrated time and again that its own mechanism is geared toward helping NATO, GCC, and Israel destroy the secular government of Bashar al-Assad.

Indeed, one of the UN’s own Syria “war crimes prosecutors” publicly admitted her own bias as she stepped down from her post over her frustrations that the U.N. simply couldn’t barge into Syria and bring Assad up for trial for “war crimes.”

MSM Claims UN “Member States” Intercepted North Korean Shipment Of Chemical Weapons To Syria

The latest round of fearmongering and propaganda against the Syrian government is now dovetailing with the latest round of fearmongering and propaganda against North Korea. It seems the corporate media and the Western governments for which it speaks have now decided to go for a two-fer when drumming up justifications for more war in Syria and a new war with North Korea.

This time, the narrative is that North Korea is shipping chemical weapons and other types of weaponry to Syria in violation of Western dictates.

One report by CNBC read,

Two North Korean shipments to a Syrian government agency responsible for the country's chemical weapons program were intercepted in the past six months, according to a confidential United Nations report on North Korea sanctions violations.
The report by a panel of independent U.N. experts, which was submitted to the U.N. Security Council earlier this month and seen by Reuters on Monday, gave no details on when or where the interdictions occurred or what the shipments contained.
"The panel is investigating reported prohibited chemical, ballistic missile and conventional arms cooperation between Syria and the DPRK (North Korea)," the experts wrote in the 37-page report.
"Two member states interdicted shipments destined for Syria. Another Member state informed the panel that it had reasons to believe that the goods were part of a KOMID contract with Syria," according to the report.

Resigning U.N. Prosecutor Carla Del Ponte Surrounded By Allegations Of Intimidation, Bullying Of Witnesses

An international war crimes prosecutor has resigned from her position on the U.N.’s Investigative Panel into human rights abuses in Syria over her frustration regarding the perceived impotence of the commission and the lack of ability to prosecute war criminals. Essentially, Carla Del Ponte is resigning because she and her panel have not been able to overcome Russian objections to framing Bashar al-Assad for crimes committed by America’s terrorists.

While admitting that Western-backed terrorists are made up “mostly” of extremists and that they have been guilty of war crimes, Del Ponte also peddled the disproven narrative that the Syrian government has used chemical weapons and that it is engaged in “terrible crimes against humanity.”

In her remarks announcing her resignation, Del Ponte, who is 70 years old, also admitted her own bias against the Syrian government since the beginning of the crisis. She stated that, when she was first appointed to the Independent Commission of Inquiry On Syria in 2012, “the opposition (members) were the good ones; the government were the bad ones.” Apparently, the woman so concerned with “crimes against humanity” was fine with “opposition members” randomly shooting civilians, raping women, slaughtering whole families and villages, and committing unspeakable acts against Syrian military soldiers and Syrian civilians. After all, she considered them the “good ones.” Only when the Syrian military began fighting back in earnest did “war crimes” become a concern.

“The Assad government is committing terrible crimes against humanity and using chemical weapons. And the opposition, that is made up only of extremists and terrorists anymore,” she said.

Del Ponte claims that the Security Council should have appointed a court similar to the ones for Rwanda and Yugoslavia but the decision to do so was vetoed by Russia.

U.S. Blocks Security Council Resolution Condemning Terror Attacks On Russian Embassy

In a telling display, the United States has actually blocked a U.N. Security Council resolution that would have condemned the July shelling of the Russian embassy in Damascus by terrorist forces.

Terrorists launched a series of mortar attacks on the Russian embassy on July 24 and 25 of this year. Although terrorists have attacked the Russian embassy in the past, the recent attacks came during the backdrop of international peace talks and negotiations that heavily involved Russia as a key player.

Despite baying that it is the world’s leading soldier in the fight against terrorism on a daily basis, the U.S. and a number of other states actually blocked a U.N. Security Council resolution submitted by the Russians on grounds that they objected to the language used in the resolution.

Russian Press Secretary Fyodor Strzhizhovsky stated that the text proposed by Russia was “on standard wording regarding counter-terrorism and immunity of diplomatic missions.”

“With regret, we have to state that certain Security Council members have again refused to consider the Russian version of the project under the contrived pretext of the lack of evidence supporting the [version of the] terrorist nature of the attacks. It was suggested that all important provisions of the project should be deleted. Under these circumstances, the Russian side considers further work on this document useless,” he said.

“Alas, despite our partners’ statements of viewing anti-terrorism struggle as their priority, they repeatedly try to protect those who they probably think may be useful in their devastating geopolitical plans regarding Syria. It’s high time they demonstrated their commitment to a political settlement of the Syrian conflict by words, not deeds and tried to join forces in counteracting terrorism,” he added.

U.S. Sponsors New Sanctions Against Syria At UN Security Council, Russia “Has No Choice” But To Veto

If anyone doubts that the Trump administration is merely the continuation of the Anglo-American establishment, at least where Syria and Western imperialism is concerned, they need only follow the recent events having taken place in the United Nations Security Council.

In a draft initiated and supported by the United States, U.K., and France, a plan was put forward to impose new sanctions on the Syrian government in the form of a ban on all shipments of helicopters to the army or the government. It also included sanctions on a number of Syrian officials and government institutions allegedly involved in “chlorine attacks.” The draft resolution received nine votes, the minimum necessary for passing such a document. However, both the Russians and the Chinese as well as the Bolivians vetoed the measure with Egypt, Kazakhstan, and Ethiopia abstaining.

The coalition of Western powers who submitted the draft used dubious claims by the OPCW-UN Joint Investigative Mechanism that attempted to blame the Syrian government for dropping “chlorine bombs” on civilians. That report, however, was fraught with shoddy investigation and relied mostly on “witnesses” cherry picked by pro-terrorist anti Syrian NGOs and “opposition” members.

Syria Ambassador Reveals Names Of Alleged Western/Saudi/GCC Intelligence Agents Trapped In East Aleppo

While the United States has harped for over five years about the “humanitarian crisis” and manufactured Syrian government “crimes against humanity,” the recent hysteria over “civilians” trapped in East Aleppo has really taken the cake. Now, however, after hearing about how Assad has “barrel bombed,” “tortured,” “burned alive,” and otherwise maimed civilians in East Aleppo (who are themselves committing mass suicide to evade Syrian government forces according to mainstream outlets), the real reason for the increase in hysteria has finally come to light.

The real reason for America’s concern is not because of civilians at all or even because of their terrorist proxies who will soon be totally annihilated in East Aleppo. It is because their own intelligence officers are stuck in East Aleppo, completely surrounded by Syrian military forces, and their capture will not only weaken the Western operation in the country, it will reveal to the world what most already know – that the U.S. and its allies are working hand-in-glove with the terrorists it claims are moderates.

This is precisely what Syria’s ambassador to the United Nations, Dr. Bashar al-Ja’afari, stated when he released the names of these intelligence officers in an address before reporters at the U.N. After a sarcastic remark about how the operatives were “nice people,” a reporter asked about the list of intelligence operatives. Ja’afari then again sarcastically corrected her by saying “No. No. They are Syrian moderate opposition. Genetically modified.”

U.S. Says Russia Bombed Convoy Even If It Didn't

Throughout the entirety of the Syrian crisis, Western media outlets have misrepresented facts and presented outright lies to their audiences regarding virtually every aspect of the war but, particularly when it comes to specific occurrences used to gin up support for greater Western intervention in Syria, these outlets kick it up a notch, launching flurries of disinformation and misinformation designed to leave imprints of false narratives in the minds of half attentive audiences.

With the recent bombing of an aid convoy in Urm al-Kubra near Aleppo, the Western media (as well as the governments it speaks for) is conflating the convoy that was attacked with a convoy that never actually entered Syria and which appears to have been attacked by America’s rebels. Now, rogue generals within the U.S. military are declaring that the Russians are responsible for the attack despite having no evidence for their claims. In addition, these generals and the Secretary of Defense are saying that, even if the Russians didn’t drop the bombs, the Russians are guilty of attacking the convoy.

Seriously, they actually said that.

Incidents such as the Ghouta chemical weapons attack, little Omran, and, now the alleged attack on a U.N. convoy are now parts of a larger narrative and, no matter how much they are debunked, confusion and distortion leave behind traces of the narrative embedded in the mind of the consumer.

Still, it is important to point out the false narratives where they do exist in order to deconstruct them as much as possible.

For instance, the recent hysteria over an alleged attack on a U.N. convoy by “either Syrian or Russian jets” (because it couldn’t have been the U.S. of course), has been used as an attempt to paint Russia and Syria as violators of a ceasefire and states so evil that they would dare attack the sacred U.N. who only ever provides food to hungry people and candy to children. Yet the entire incident, which the West is attempting to use as a political hammer, exists only through the channels and pages of Western media. In reality, however, not so much.

The story being peddled to the American people is that, even as the ceasefire was still in effect (from the point of view of the United States despite the fact that its terrorists never abided by one principle or obligation of the ceasefire from the very beginning), either Russia or Syria bombed a U.N. aid convoy on its way to deliver supplies to civilians.

U.S. Agrees To U.N. "Use Of Force" To "Protect Civilians" In Combat Zones

In yet another step towards the establishment of a world military force that seeks peace through the absence of dissent, the United States announced its support in May for a set of principles that will allow the United Nations’ peacekeeping troops and UN police to use force in order to “protect civilians” in combat zones and areas of armed conflict.

U.S. Ambassador the U.N. and notorious warmonger against Libya and Syria, Samantha Power stated that the Kigali Principles would “make peacekeeping missions more effective, improve security and save lives."

"The Kigali Principles are designed to make sure that civilians are not abandoned by the international community again," said Power.

The Kigali Principles call for countries who contribute troops to UN missions to give UN Peacekeeping Commanders the authority to use military force against “armed actors with clear hostile intent to harm civilians” without waiting for approval from the United Nations and its member states.

"If a commander has to wait hours and hours for guidance from capital, it may mean not being able to react in time to repel a fast-approaching attack on a nearby village," Power added.

The Kigali initiative was introduced by the United States, the Netherlands, and Rwanda in 2015.

According to a report from the Military Times, U.N. peacekeeping forces from the 29 countries signing on to the principles are now required to act if civilians are in danger.
29 countries represents less than a third of United Nations members and include:

U.N. Vehicles, Mysterious Troop Movement Spotted In VA, NC, W.VA, Ohio,

UPDATE: It appears that many of the sightings of military convoys containing "construction" equipment in the South and Midwest could possibly be related to the National Guard response to deadly flooding in West Virginia. The sightings of the UN vehicles are more questionable but are being explained as being related to the transport of the vehicles which were manufactured in the United States to sea ports for use outside the country. However, nothing regarding the UN vehicles has been confirmed as of yet either way.

In the midst of reports circulating around an uptick in U.S. military movement inside the United States, a recent sighting of U.N. vehicles being carried on flatbed trucks is now making its rounds on the internet and alternative media networks.

The U.N. vehicles were spotted near I-81 near Lexington, VA and were being carried by flatbed, two to a trailer.

Not much information exists beyond the sighting, except to say that there have been numerous reports of an increase in military movement in the NC, VA, West VA, and Ohio region.

For the past day or so, military convoys have been witnessed traveling both North and South, with lines of equipment ranging from Humvees, troop transport trucks, and tankers to military personnel following the convoy in civilian vehicles. Interestingly enough, many of the soldiers traveling in the convoy were seen wearing helmets, an unusual procedure for a simple convoy. In addition, the convoys were carrying what appeared to be construction equipment.

U.N. Bows To Saudi Financial Threats, Removes KSA From Child Killers List

Despite the crowing of Western nations like the United States, Britain, France and other NATO countries, as well as the United Nations, regarding “human rights violations” in countries like Syria (where the main rights violators have been Western-backed terrorists funded by the West itself) and Iran, Saudi Arabia has continued apace with its policy of floggings, imprisonment, torture, and beheadings for offenses such as “insulting Islam,” “establishing liberal websites” and “sorcery” to the tune of little to no criticism by the West.

While Syria was, without a doubt, the most secular and safest place in the Middle East for minorities (ethnic and religious) and women before the 2011 Western-backed destabilization, Saudi Arabia maintained its policy of slavery and gross oppression of women. The righteous and sanctimonious West, however, said not a word about the savage feudal monarchy of the house of Saud.

After numerous reports began surfacing regarding the Saudi cruelty and the oppressive Saudi state and after a massive torrent of coverage coming from the alternative (notably not the mainstream) press, however, the crimes of the Saudi monarchy could no longer be completely ignored, a fact which has highlighted not only the horrors of Saudi leadership but the hypocrisy of the West.

Thus, after a significant expose’ of Saudi war crimes and human rights violations at home and abroad, even the United Nations could no longer remain silent.

As a result, the U.N.’s “Children And Armed Conflict” report for 2015 listed Saudi Arabia and its anti-Houthi coalition in Yemen as “parties that kill or maim children” and “parties that engage in attacks on schools and/or hospitals.” The report’s findings were based on the work of U.N. researchers stationed in Yemen who attributed 60 percent of killed an injured children in that country to the bombs dropped by the Saudi coalition. Yet Saudi Arabia’s name was eventually struck off the list provided in the report less than a week after it was released, a decision that was made by U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki Moon.

Putin Calls Out U.S. At U.N. Summit: “Do You Realize Now What You Have Done?”

October 2, 2015

While the incessant propaganda being levelled at Russia and Russian President Vladmir Putin from the West continues, it is nonetheless understood that the UN summit that took place only a few days ago was a public relations defeat for the United States and Barack Obama. Whatever side one wishes to take, it was clear that Putin’s speech outshined Obama’s on every front and the United States left the event with yet another black eye on the reputation and credibility of a country that could have been the envy of the world, but is now viewed by the rest of the world as a petulant, albeit, very dangerous child.

Although Obama’s oratory skills (at least when a working teleprompter is present) are known far and wide, Putin’s classic slouch and steady speech proved to be too much for the Nobel Prize winner to overcome. Indeed, it was not Obama’s oratory that failed at the UN summit, it was what Obama represents. In other words, it was the U.S. reputation and credibility that collapsed in New York. Although Obama himself represents that failure, it has finally reached the point where no amount of impressive oration can repair what the United States has broken throughout its history, especially in the last 15 years.

Indeed, unfortunately for Obama, that ship had sailed long before he ever reached Manhattan.

Yet you wouldn’t know that from the reaction in the Western press, who present a victorious Obama who confronted Russian aggression from the Summit floor in front of the world, calling Putin out for “prolonging the war,” supporting a “brutal dictator,” stealing territory, and pushing across Europe.

As is the case with most reports coming from the mainstream western press, however, that representation couldn’t further from the truth.

For that reason, the entire speech by Putin is provided below so that Western readers will have the opportunity to read it in full as opposed to small snippets and soundbytes.

NATO/UN Desperately Seek Ceasefire To Save ISIS After Syrian Army Encircles Aleppo

In a military victory that may very well rival the liberation of Qusayr in terms of significance, on February 17, the SAAofficially encircled the entirety of Syria’s largest city Aleppo. In so doing, the SAA was also able to seal off the road leading into the city from the North which has been used as a supply route for the terrorist death squadsreceiving reinforcements and supplies from Turkey since the beginning of the crisis.

While not controlled by the Western-backed terrorist forces entirely, large portions of Aleppo have fallen under death squad control since NATO began backing jihadists forces in earnest in 2010. The Syrian military has long sought to establish control over the entirety of the city and, over the last several months, the SAA has been fighting to do just that. Over the last few weeks, however, the SAA was able to win a number of key battles and take control over a several key villages that enabled it to position itself all the way around Aleppo.

The encirclement of Aleppo comes as the SAA has launched a new offensive against death squad forces in the south, near the occupied Golan Heights and the Syrian/Israeli border.

Even the Huffington Post has been forced to admit that “If government forces succeed in fully besieging opposition-held areas, the move will pose the greatest threat to the rebels' position in the area since anti-Assad fighters stormed parts of the city in 2012.”

Conveniently, however, as the Syrian military is poised to make such a monumental victory over the Western-backed jihadists, the United Nations has announced its plans for a ceasefire in and around Aleppo.

Complaints Filed At UN Against McCain - Senator Meets With Terrorists, Fascists, and Nazis Across The World

John McCain’s sordid travel history is back in the headlines. This time, it is his notorious visit to Syria in 2013 that is once again being put at the forefront of informed discussion due to a Syrian complaint filed with the United Nations regarding McCain’s illegal entry into the country in order to meet and coordinate with death squad terrorists slaughtering innocent people numbering in the hundreds of thousands.

French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner, former Kuwaiti politician Walid Tabtabai, and former US diplomat Peter Galbraith were two other officials named in the Syrian letter to the UN; but McCain’s visit has drawn much more attention ever since it was revealed that McCain had not only met with the Commander of the Fundamentalist “moderate” rebellion known as the Free Syrian Army but also with a cannibal and the leader of ISIS himself, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.

This meeting, of course, is in addition to the meetings that McCain has held with terrorists in Libya - fanatics he once called “heroes” and who then went on to murder US Ambassador Chris Stevens in the famous Benghazi incident. McCain also took the time to meet with Fascists and Nazis in Ukraine as the US-orchestrated color revolution was in full swing.

Syria’s official letter to the UN, however, focused on the issue of sovereignty. The Syrian Ambassador to the United Nations, Bashar Ja’afari urged UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon and the UN Security Council to begin pressuring national governments to put in place “the necessary measures against their nationals who enter Syrian territory illegally.”

Ja’afari stated that “Such actions are a blatant violation of Syria’s sovereignty and of the resolutions of the Security Council concerning Syria.”
