If Walmart does not hold the title of “Most Evil Retail Corporation” as of yet, it appears to be doing everything within its power to achieve that name. Aside from destroying small businesses across the country as well as the towns that used to house them, operating incredibly atrocious production facilities, engaging in abuse of workers, and providing genuinely poor service and prices, Walmart remains determined to suck up every last dollar that it has immorally taken from the working poor over the last fifty or so years.

Even when Walmart workers themselves have finally been pushed beyond what they are able to stand, the corporation is incapable of providing concessions to even the most reasonable demands.

Thus, as Walmart workers have been forced to take action in the form of strikes and political/consumer pressure, Walmart steadfastly refuses to exhibit anything resembling humanity or even basic fairness.

Although Walmart could scarcely sink to further depths of greed and depravity, the corporation has indeed attempted to cover all bases in its race to return to the days of weave room girls and the horrific labor conditions of the industrial revolution. This much is evidenced by the recent release of Walmart training documents which were uncovered by Anonymous and made public by OccupyWallStreet. (see here also.)

These training documents are quite typical of the mindset of a major corporation. Yet they are also incredibly corny in terms of their suggestions and scripts of how to handle specific questions coming from employees.

The scripts supplied by the company predictably make the tired claim that unions are just after the employees’ money. The training manuals also promote “company loyalty,” and what they refer to as “open communication,” a term used synonymously with the “open door” which is nothing more than a laughable attempt to claim that employees have the ability to address all their concerns to the proper authorities without the presence of a union. The training manuals also stress the need to contact a special hotline to report any talk of unions or unionization.

Big Pharma and Corporate Media Team Up For Pro-Vaccine Propaganda

Every year, flu vaccine propaganda is ramped up by the pharmaceutical industry and its mouthpiece media, which then gives way to a second round (pun intended) of vaccine propaganda pushing toxic vaccinations for a variety of diseases, only then to be followed by the demonization of nutritional supplements. Around mid-January, rinse and repeat – (flu, childhood vaccine, and anti-supplement propaganda).

Thus, at the end of 2013, the American public was met with an onslaught of fear-mongering propaganda predicting flu pandemics and imminent death if vaccination was not immediately sought. We then saw the major propaganda assault regarding the safety and effectiveness of vitamins and minerals by the medical and pharmaceutical industries. Now, in early 2014, we are witnessing another propaganda assault against the “anti-vaccination” movement with claims of increased outbreaks and apocalyptic scenes of sickness.

The latest propaganda push comes not from the medical industry per se, however, but from an organization usually more focused on the spread of globalism, free trade, culture creation, and other domestic/international governmental policies, the Council on Foreign Relations.

Following a volley of cynical assaults on parents and other individuals who have investigated the science, process, and risks of vaccination (or experienced these side effects firsthand), the CFR has created an interactive map of what it has deemed outbreaks of preventable diseases resulting from the anti-vaccination movement. This map was immediately circulated throughout the corporate media, with suggestions not only that non-vaccinators are crazy and irresponsible but that they do not have the freedom to make the choice not to vaccinate. In this regard, the LA Times report by Michael Hiltzik entitled “The toll of the anti-vaccination movement in one devastating graphic” comes to mind.

 

Putting aside Hiltzik’s trendy title and pathetic attempts at research and citation, as well as his nonsensical claims regarding Jenny McCarthy and Andrew Wakefield, it is important to go to the source of the actual research (of which Hiltzik, if his article is anything to go by, is clearly incapable doing himself).

With the Geneva II Peace Conference now underway and the ripples of tension caused by the conveniently timed release of a highly questionable Qatari-funded report alleging Syrian “crimes against humanity,” the eyes of world historical opinion are now focused upon the city of Montreux.

Ignoring for sake of argument the fact that the Syrian government has been pressured into attending “peace talks” with a foreign-backed invading force of fanatics, as well as the fact that the nations who are continuing to fund the invasion are sitting directly across the table from Syria’s legitimate government, the information being reported from the conference, much like the information that has been reported from Syria in general, has been largely scrubbed of relevant facts.

Indeed, reports coming from mainstream sources regarding the developments of the talks contain the constant repetition of claims of “inflammatory rhetoric” being uttered by the Syrian delegation against the Syrian death squad representatives, the representatives of the Western world, and the United Nations itself.

These accusations against the Syrian delegation, led by Syrian Foreign Minister Wallid Muallem, come despite insulting and factually bereft statements like those made by Skull and Bones John Kerry, where Kerry said that "There is no way the man who has led a brutal response to his own people can regain the legitimacy to govern. One man and his henchmen can no longer hold an entire nation hostage."

Additional “inflammatory rhetoric” accusations were hurled at Syrian Foreign Minister Wallid Muallem when he briefly argued with UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon, after Moon attempted to shorten Muallem’s speech to within the proscribed time limit. Muallem responded, "You live in New York. I live in Syria. I have the right to give the Syrian version here in this forum."

5 Reasons The Latest Report On Syria War Crimes Might Not Be True

In a recently released and conveniently timed report, complete with references to Nazi Germany and concentration camps, efforts to ramp up support for a “tough line” against Syria at the upcoming Geneva II conference and even possible military intervention, are once again moving into high gear. The report, compiled by three British war crime prosecutors and three “forensic experts” claims that it has demonstrable proof that the Assad government is guilty of torturing and killing over ten thousand people.

The report (accessed here) claims to show evidence of physical torture, murder, and starvation.
Of course, the Syrian government denies the veracity of the claims of the report and Western media outlets repeat the claims as incontrovertible proof.

As Reuters reports,

A Syrian military police photographer has supplied "clear evidence" showing the systematic torture and killing of about 11,000 detainees in circumstances that evoked Nazi death camps, former war crimes prosecutors said. 

Syrian officials could face war crimes charges as a result of the evidence provided by the photographer, who has defected, the three prosecutors said. 

One of the prosecutors said the evidence documented "industrial scale killing" that was reminiscent of the World War II concentration camps of Belsen and Auschwitz. 

The trove of harrowing photographs ratchets up the pressure on Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, who the United States and its Western allies say has committed war crimes against his own people during the civil war.

With the latest round of hysteria regarding the prevalence of the annual flu season and the “need” for the flu vaccine in full swing, one unaccustomed to reading the details of government statistics and the arguments for or against vaccination might justifiably be terrorized into running to their local vaccine dispensary and rolling up their sleeves. Indeed, the average person encountering the reports of infection, hospitalization, and death will justifiably be stirred into a frenzied state of panic.

The vaccine makers, pharmaceutical companies, and their representatives also known as medical doctors, are, of course, waiting with open arms and needles locked and loaded. With statistics such as “hundreds of thousands” of infections and “tens of thousands of deaths” by the flu virus being repeated ad nauseam, it is understandable why many hapless individuals rush to take toxic vaccines unaware of the hazardous ingredients they contain.

However, what is scarcely examined is whether or not these numbers quoted by mainstream media outlets and the medical industry are, in fact, accurate. Indeed, in most cases, these numbers are simply repeated by various players with little or no adequate challenge ever mounted against them.

Yet, upon closer examination, the statistics being repeated by these outlets are revealed to be nothing more than propaganda. While the flu virus might not be something to ignore, the truth is that the apocalyptic predictions and bio-panic reports constantly shoveled out to the American population are much smaller both in terms of infection and mortality rates.

These vastly reduced amounts of infection are clearly evident when one evaluates the actual numbers of infection confirmed to be caused by the flu virus itself.

 

First, it is important to point out the difference between Influenza (Flu) and Influenza-like illness. Both the flu and flu-like illnesses reveal themselves by the manifestation of the same symptoms, i.e. fever, runny nose, headache, body aches, etc. Both are caused by viruses. However, the flu is caused, logically, by the influenza virus of which there are three different types (A,B, and C) while flu-like illness is caused by a variety of other viruses.

Upcoming Military Drill Off Limits to Reporters

In keeping with the ever increasing trend of military and law enforcement cooperation and the growing prevalence of civilian police forces conducting drills with military forces, South Carolina’s Richland County Sheriff’s Office has announced that it will be engaging in joint training exercises on Monday and Tuesday with unidentified units from Ft. Bragg.

The exercises are scheduled to take place on Monday and Tuesday and will run up to midnight on both days and will take place largely in Lower Richland, near Eastover and Hopkins.

Exercises are also planned for the areas of Screaming Eagle Rd. near Elgin and North Richland County very close to outbound Monticello Road.

Beyond this information, however, very little else is known about the upcoming shadowy training exercises. That is, except for the fact that they may be very loud and possibly alarming to the local residents unprepared for or uninformed of them.

According to the State newspaper, reporters will not be allowed to “view or participate” in the exercise.

Clearly, simulated combat will be a part of the drill due to the fact that residents are being told not to be alarmed by the sound of gunfire or “ordinance.”

The Antibody Deception

Over the last several years, more and more people have become aware of the enormous dangers of vaccination. This is due, in large part, to the tireless work of a number of researchers and activists who have pointed out the horrific side effects attached to the use of toxic vaccine ingredients such as aluminum, polysorbate 80, thimerosal, and squalene among a host of other harmful results of vaccination that can manifest in lasting impairment and even death.

Yet, the pharmaceutical industry, medical doctors, and corporate media outlets continue to push toxic injections as the only way to prevent disease and ridicule those individuals who refuse to take seasonal flu shots and other vaccinations as crackpots and paranoid conspiracy theorists. Even those individuals who have been afflicted with the negative side effects of vaccines are themselves attacked and marginalized after coming forward with their injuries.

Still, after all of the available evidence proving vaccine dangers and lack of efficacy, and after all of the suffering so easily seen amongst those who have experienced side effects of vaccines, the pharmaceutical and medical industries still maintain that vaccines are both safe and effective. However, despite the nature of the vaccine debate, one area of vaccination theory is scarcely mentioned in regards to the question of whether or not vaccines are even effective – the presence of antibodies and what they mean in terms of vaccine efficacy.

Part of the theory behind vaccination is that the injection of specific antigens in vaccine form mimics natural infection which then causes B cells, a type of white blood cell of the immune system, to produce antibodies to the antigen as part of the adaptive immune system, thus producing immunity to the disease by “teaching” the overall immune system how to respond the specific infection before the body ever comes in contact with it.

Coming Soon: "On-Demand" Nano-Vaccines Funded by Bill Gates

According to a press release recently posted by the University of Washington, a new type of vaccine may soon be created that will allow for its immediate creation and application. This new vaccine, however, will be formed by using nanoparticles created from genetically engineered proteins.

The researchers, who have already tested the vaccine in mice, are hopeful that the vaccines will soon make “on-demand” vaccines that can be administered within minutes for a low price a common reality in the medical community.

The vaccine would mostly be aimed at "developing countries" and would cut the costs of vaccination programs "by not having to rely on refrigeration, and vaccines could be produced with rudimentary equipment in more precise, targeted numbers. The vaccines could be manufactured and delivered using a disposable patch, like a bandage, which could one day lessen the use of trained personnel and hypodermic needles."

Francois Baneyx, the lead author of a recent published paper in Nanomedicine and UW professor of chemical engineering stated, “We’re really excited about this technology because it makes it possible to produce a vaccine on the spot. For instance, a field doctor could see the beginnings of an epidemic, make vaccine doses right away, and blanket vaccinate the entire population in the affected area to prevent the spread of an epidemic.”

Obama Administration Issues New "Executive Actions" On Guns

On Friday January 3, the Obama administration announced two new “executive actions” which infringe even further on the rights of Americans who wish to own firearms. The new actions are “aimed at strengthening federal background checks for gun purchasers, with a particular focus on limiting firearm access for those with mental health issues.”

According to reports coming from outlets such as AP, the new executive actions include a rule change that will “clarify terminology used by federal law to prohibit people from purchasing a firearm for mental health reasons.” The Obama Administration claims that states have been complaining that the current wording of the rule is unclear, causing them undue hardship in determining “who should be blocked from buying a weapon.” Of course, nowhere in the alleged discussion between the states and the federal government has there been talk of the fact that all American citizens have a right to keep and bear arms and that bureaucrats and government officials do not have the right to “determine who should be blocked from buying a weapon.”

Regardless, the rule change also helps “states determine what information may be shared with the federal background check system for firearms transfers.” In other words, the new change allows even greater cooperation between state registration systems and the federal version, and thus a greater ability to justify the prevention of a larger number of firearm purchases.

According to the Huffington Post, “The first proposed rule change, by the Department of Justice, expands the definition of the statutory term ‘committed to a mental institution’ to clarify that the prohibition on firearms purchases applies to people subjected to involuntary outpatient as well as inpatient commitments.” Considering the extreme ease in which a person may be involuntarily committed to either inpatient or outpatient mental health facilities, this new rule will clearly affect many more average Americans that most are willing to believe.

Such was the case of David Sarti who went to his doctor because he was experiencing chest pains. After making a simple joke, Sarti was declared “mentally defective,” subjected to forcible “mental evaluation,” and stripped of his Second Amendment rights.

The Case Against Corporate Media and Big Pharma Science Grows Stronger

In a recent anti-supplement propaganda article by NPR entitled “The Case Against Multi-Vitamins Grows Stronger,” the notorious “news” agency lavishly reported the alleged findings of “experts” proving that “vitamin supplements don't help most people and can actually cause diseases that people are taking them to prevent, like cancer.” Immediately, the entire mainstream media machine jumped into action promoting the statements of the “experts” and claiming that the case is now closed regarding the effectiveness and safety of nutritional supplements. Typically, Big Pharma mouthpieces such as NBC and CBS followed suit in repeating the same talking points.

Of course, what NPR, its fellow media outlets, and the authors of the editorial published in the Annals of Internal Medicine actually demonstrated was that the case against the mainstream media and Big Pharma funded science is growing stronger. This is because the cleverly worded editorial and the lapdog media repetition of these carefully crafted statements is nothing more than the annual attempt to demonize natural food supplements, organic food, and individuals who refuse to take toxic vaccines over hyped diseases.

Yet, before those who may be susceptible to trendy writing forms and flashy television presentations give in to the claims made by mainstream outlets, it is important to understand the fundamental flaws of both the reports being circulated to date as well as the editorial and studies being cited.

The first, and most obvious, flaw in this latest anti-supplement propaganda campaign is the fact that mainstream media outlets are citing an editorial, not a study. This is important for two reasons – one of which being the fact that so many who tend to claim such a respect for “science” usually demand to see “scientific studies” when confronted with claims surrounding benefits of supplements. However, in the case of claims regarding their ineffectiveness or their potential danger, a simple editorial seems to suffice. More importantly, the editorial makes much bolder claims than those made in the studies themselves.

Consider the statements made by the authors of the editorial when they state,

Google Seeks Internet Surveillance of the Smart Grid

The “Internet of Things” just wouldn’t be “Internet” enough if Google was not involved in a major way. Fortunately for those who have designed the gadget spy system, however, Google is attempting to become heavily involved in the implementation of yet another piece of the technological control grid.

According to the The Information and The Verge, Google is now testing thermostats connected to the Internet that would allow users to view the amount of energy being consumed in their homes as well as be able to make adjustments to that level of consumption. At least that is the justification used to sell the technology to the public. The real reasons behind both Google’s foray into the relatively new field and those of other tech firms, governments, and “sustainability”-related organizations are somewhat less interested in consumer satisfaction, environmental health, and lower energy bills.

Google’s latest foray into the control grid, a wide open country for the corporate giant which never seems tired of pioneering new marketable technological control products, is called EnergySense. This new program is round two for Google, which attempted something similar a few years ago named Powermeter, although this program was terminated in mid-2011 due to “difficulties scaling it up.” The mission statement for Powermeter, similar to that of EnergySense “was that people could trim energy use by 15 percent if they could see what was happening.”

Things are looking up for Google in this regard, however, as Josh Lowensohn of The Verge writes that “This might be a better time for such a service, as indicated by a rising wave of connected home appliances. That includes Nest, which began with thermostats and has since moved onto smoke detectors. It's joined by a host of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth-connected appliances that can pipe information to the cloud, from refrigerators to web cameras.”

Interestingly enough, Google Ventures already invested in Nest in 2012.

Latest Atrocity in Syria: Death Squads Bake Civilians in Ovens

On December 14, it was reported by Ziad Fadel of Syrian Perspective that death squads operating in Syria had once again committed a massacre against civilians, this time in a town known as Adra. Fadel claimed that Christians, Druze, and Alawites had been specifically targeted and that many had been killed by being burned alive in bakery ovens.

On December 16, RT confirmed Syrian Perspective’s reports both of the massacre by the death squads, as well as the gruesome methods used to kill some of the victims.

At this time, it is being reported that at least 80 civilians have been executed by death squad forces currently occupying Adraa, a town located northwest of Damascus. Like the Maaloula nuns, many other civilians have been kidnapped in order to be held for ransom or as human shields.

RT Arabic correspondent Abultaleb Albohaya, reporting on the ground in Syria, stated,

For now it’s established that over 80 people were killed in the areas now taken over by the army. Often whole families were murdered.

Some families were kidnapped in order to be used as human shields in areas where the Syrian army is now trying to free the civilians. 

The military sources also said that the other kidnapped families were moved to the area south of Adra in the direction of the town of Douma, which has been the opposition’s strategic backland since the start of the Syrian crisis [in March, 2011]. It’s also where the most important rebel fortifications are situated.

FSA Commander Forced To Flee, Attacked By Fellow Death Squads

Demonstrating yet again the jihadist nature of the so-called Syrian “rebellion” as well as the fracturing command structure the top “rebel” commander, General Selim Idriss, has fled Syria as a result of attacks by the more extreme jihadists of the Islamic Front.

According to the Wall Street Journal, TIME, UPI, and a host of other mainstream sources, Idriss fled Syria into Turkey after Islamic Front jihadists overran his weapons warehouses full of US-donated military gear as well as his own headquarters located near the border of Syria and Turkey. From Turkey, Idriss flew to Doha, Qatar. The warehouses were controlled mainly by the Supreme Military Council, the loose umbrella group which contains the FSA.

Reports of Idriss’ flight were corroborated by both an anonymous senior U.S. Official and a spokesman for the Islamic Front.

A spokesman for the FSA, however, attempted to claim that Idriss was merely in Turkey for talks between the Islamic Front and the FSA.

Doha plays an important role for the FSA forces as the Syrian National Coalition, the governmental wing of the “moderate extremist” version of the Syrian “rebels,” is based the country.

Syrian Military Victory to Become Western Propaganda Ploy?

In yet another strategic victory by the Syrian military, it was announced on December 8 by the Syrian Ministry of Defense and the General Staff that the Syrian Arab Army has liberated the town of Al-Nabk, a smaller town which is situated on the edge of the Damascus-Homs Highway. According to these announcements Al-Nabk is now largely free and clear of death squad forces.

The victory in Al-Nabk comes as a result of a series of special operations conducted by the Syrian military. Syrian Perspective reports that travel between Damascus and Homs without fear of being attacked by death squad members is now possible for the first time since the foreign-backed jihadists seized the area.

Al-Nabk is an important strategic victory because, not only does it allow reinforcements to be sent toward outer villages like Maaloula, Yabroud (where operations are now taking place), and Saydnaaya, but it also allows for the complete interlocking of supplies and reinforcements between Damascus and Homs. Such resupply and reinforcements can then be used to free the highway from Homs to Aleppo and initiate the liberation of the largest city in Syria.

Unfortunately, a disinformation campaign against the Assad government is already underway regarding the violence which took place in Al-Nabk.

This campaign is being waged by pro-Jihadist elements aiming to blame all death and destruction which came as a result of fierce fighting between death squad forces and the Syrian military as the fault and intention of the Syrian Arab Army.

Seymour Hersh Confirms Obama Lied About Syria Chemical Weapons Attacks

Almost five months after the chemical weapons attacks that took place in the Ghouta region of Syria, legendary reporter and revealer of American war crimes such as My Lai and Abu Grahib, Seymour Hersh, has revealed yet another bombshell of information – specifically that the Obama Administration intentionally misrepresented information that was used to claim Assad and the Syrian government was responsible for the attack.

Hersh’s article, “Whose Sarin?” which was notably published in the UK press and not in the American media, claims that the Obama administration is guilty of “cherry picking” intelligence information to suit the goal of military action against Syria. Hersh’s accusations come after his conversations with at least two “intelligence and military officials.”

Ultimately, Hersh’s article rests on the criticism and revelations that the administration intentionally buried information regarding Jobhat al-Nusra operating inside Syria and the clear and documented evidence that the extremist group did, in fact, have access to sarin gas and the means to deliver it via improvised rocket propelling devices. Hersh also criticizes the American media for engaging in “confirmation bias” and riding the wave of propaganda being promoted against the Assad government.

In addition, the respected journalist points out that the administration actually manipulated evidence so as to attempt to portray the Assad forces as the aggressors. Hersh clearly states that the administration's claims shortly after the Ghouta chemical weapons attack were nothing more than a fabrication, echoing the fabrication that famously preceded the tragedy of Iraq.

Fighting in Ancient Syrian City, Nuns Taken Hostage

In yet another example of the religious fanaticism and intentional targeting of civilians by the foreign-backed death squads operating in Syria, a recent offensive push by the killers into the Christian village of Maaloula has resulted in widespread destruction, vandalism, and even the kidnapping of 12 nuns and others from a local Christian monastery.

On December 2, 2013, death squads invaded the ancient city of Maaloula which sits just north of Damascus and close to the Damascus highway, a strategic supply route for the Syrian government forces and the Western-backed death squads. After overtaking the government forces which had themselves retaken the town only months ago, the death squads began instituting oppressive policies and terrorizing the inhabitants.

Indeed, shortly after the invasion, the terrorists kidnapped 12 Syrian and Lebanese Orthodox Christian nuns who had been residing in the Mar Thecla convent, located in the middle of the city. In addition, Febronia Nabhan, the mother superior of another convent in Maaloula, stated that three “young maids” were also kidnapped. According to Mario Zenari, a spokesman for the Vatican, the women were seen being forced to follow the death squads toward Yabroud.

Although the death squads have not released any public statement regarding the reason behind the kidnappings, the ridiculous assertions put forward by the mainstream death squad sympathizing media that the women were taken “for their own protection” should be dismissed out of hand. If death squad forces were abducting the women for their protection, it would be the first time in death squad history that protection was the reason behind an abduction.

Indeed, if protection was the reason for the abduction, now that the fighting has abated, why have the women not been released? Who were the women being protected from? Members of their own convent? Residents of the mostly Christian village? Government forces who have protected Christians at every opportunity (from the death squads)? Clearly, such a suggestion is beyond laughable.
