India and Russia's Cooperation May Make India A Target Of The West's Terror Apparatus

With India moving firmly into the Russian orbit, the regional heavyweight is likely opening itself up to vengeful sabotage on the part of the Western establishment. Although clearly an impoverished police state not interested in civil liberties or individual freedom, India is nonetheless realizing that Perfide Albion (a moniker once reserved for England but now able to be placed on virtually the entire Western NATO world) cannot be trusted and is thus apt to go more for the Russian carrot instead of the American stick.

Evidence for this is the fact that Russia and India have now implemented over 400 joint scientific and development projects since the beginning of their cooperation initiative. This includes the recent announced possibility that Russia may offer India assistance in building the world’s most advanced nuclear reactor in the world.

In addition, it appears that Russia will also be assisting India with defense initiatives. On June 21, it was announced by Russian arms exporter, Rosoboronexport, that it will soon sign a contract with India for the delivery of the much-vaunted S-400 Triumf missile systems. As TASS reports, “The S-400 Triumf is the most advanced long-range antiaircraft missile system that went into service in Russia in 2007. It is designed to destroy aircraft, cruise and ballistic missiles, including medium-range missiles, and can also be used against ground objectives.”

This new cooperation between India and Russia is significant in many ways but one noticeable aspect is the potential for a wave of destabilization and terror attacks that may follow the same footsteps in India as it has in other countries; i.e. Syria, Philippines, Iran, etc. that begin moving away from the American orbit. In other words, as India moves closer to Russia look for Western-backed terror organizations to begin assaults in India in order to destabilize the government there and shake up the Russian influence.

Already, there have been a number of terrorists attacks in India by ISIS-inspired terrorists though the government claims most of these attacks were “domestic” terrorists. There is, however, the Indian Mujhadeen organization, an offshoot of al-Qaeda and thus a part of the same Western-organized terror complex. India has also arrested numerous ISIS-inspired terrorists including members of the Indian Mujhadeen.

The Indian issue is now connected in some ways to what is taking shape in Afghanistan, strange as it may seem. Along with a sixteen year U.S. presence, the Taliban, al-Qaeda, and ISIS maintain a strong presence in the country, with ISIS beginning competing with the Taliban as the greatest physical threat. Indeed, after sixteen years of occupation, terrorist forces and indigenous opposition have retaken massive portions of the country.

More importantly for India, however, is the fact that ISIS recently seized a Tora Bora cave complex in Nangarhar province. The complex was already under the control of al-Qaeda making the new development really just a name change for the same organization. But what is significant is that these mountain paths effect more than just Afghanistan. The Tora Bora mountains, which have functioned as a virtual fortress for anti-American forces in Afghanistan, lead directly through Pakistan and into China and India.

“If Daesh plans an attack on China, it can be easily carried out from the cave of Tora Bora. It is even possible to reach Indian Kashmir from there,” stated Iranian analyst Mollazehi Pir-Mohammand to Sputnik during the course of an interview.

Indeed, one need only glance at a map to see that he is correct. This is particularly true when one realizes the amount of sympathy found for such terrorist ideologies in the paths of those mountains as well as the fact that the most militarily advanced nation on the face of the planet is funding, organizing, and directing those terrorists to begin with.

While we must be careful to make pronouncements and predictions, it is neverthless a possibility that India and Russia’s accelerated cooperation may thus find India the target of ISIS and related terror organizations in the very near future, not as an act of expanded terrorist ideology but as a redirected and expanded Western campaign of intimidation and destabilization.
