The Martyrs Of Maloula: The War Will Be Over When We Win

April 25, 2017

In 2013, 5 young men were kidnapped from the ancient Christian town of Maloula, for the first six months their families remained in contact with their kidnappers among the Free Syrian Army so called "moderates" & Nusra Front, then communications ended abruptly. Families continued to believe in a "miracle" and to pray for their safe return for the following three years. These hopes were cruelly destroyed recently when the executed bodies of the 5 young men were found close to the Syrian border and were identified as the kidnap victims.

The Martyrs' names are : Ghassan Michael Shnis, Atef Ragheb Kalomeh, Shady Michael Thalab, Daoud Sarkis Milaneh and Jihad Mtanios Thalab

Today in Damascus we were honoured to attend the funeral ceremony for these five brave souls whose relatives in the tight knit community of Maloula are still reeling from the shock of their death after three years praying and continuing to hope for their safe return.

The grief and rage was palpable, both from those close family members walking with the coffins and from the people of Damascus who flocked onto the streets to pay their respects. United in the senseless loss of yet more young lives in this 6 year war bieng waged against Syria by NATO and Gulf state regimes.

"The thing that unites Syrians most, are our martyrs" said Abdo Hadad, whose cousin was among the martyrs. Sadly the last few days in Syria have proven this statement over and over again.

Dany Milaneh, from Maloula, had been shot by a sniper in Zamalka [Damascus suburbs] and left paralysed, wheelchair bound. His brother, Daoud Milaneh was among the martyrs.

U.S. Sec. Of Defense Mattis Claims Syria Still Has Chemical Weapons; Laying The Groundwork For A New False Flag?

Brandon Turbeville

April 21, 2017

If anyone gave any credibility to what came out of the mouth of United States officials before, the Trump administration has done everything possible to eliminate what was left of America’s reputation on the world stage. What is even more concerning, however, is that the statements made by the United States are no longer couched in nuance hidden between the lines but are now open statements of intended aggression and obvious preparation for the next military assault.

Such is the type of statement coming from Defense Secretary James Mattis who recently made the claim that the Syrian government not only used chemical weapons in Khan Sheikhoun (a widely discredit claim in its own right) but that it continues to possess those weapons. The insinuation from the Defense Secretary is that the Syrian government is planning on using those weapons in the near future.

Warning Syria against using chemical weapons “again,” Mad Dog Mattis said using these weapons would be “ill-advised.”

"There can be no doubt in the international community's mind that Syria has retained chemical weapons in violation of its agreement and its statement that it had removed them all," he said.

Mattis’ statement, while demonstrably untrue, since the United Nations has already confirmed that the last of Syria’s chemical weapons (except for the ones in territory controlled by terrorists) were removed from the country in 2014, may seem like just another run of the mill Trump administration verbal provocation but, in reality, it is more than that. The statement is simply laying the groundwork for another false flag chemical attack in Syria to be blamed on the Assad government.

U.S. Threatens Iran, Plans To "Review Policy;" Will Deal With Iran Before Another Administration Comes To Power

After launching the disastrous missile strikes against Syrian military forces that resulted in the killing of Syrian soldiers, civilians, and children as well as sending ships toward North Korea in a flagrant act of aggression and dropping the largest known non-nuclear bomb on Afghanistan, the Trump administration is now taking aim at Iran.

Sounding much like it did after its bizarre and unprovoked “putting Iran on notice” speech made by former Trump administration official Michael Flynn, the United States is now “reviewing its policy” on Iran and warning the world of the dangers of a nuclear Iran.

Ironically, the United States is warning of an Iran terrorizing the world with its bombs, funding “militias” across the world, and expanding its influence in the region by force as well as unprovoked aggression against specific countries. If there a field of psychology for geopolitics, these statements would be classified as a clear example of projection if ever there was one.

“Whether it be assassination attempts, support of weapons of mass destruction, deploying destabilizing militias, Iran spends its treasure and time disrupting peace,” Tillerson said. “An unchecked Iran has the potential to travel the same path as North Korea ‒ and take the world along with it.”

North Korea Remains Defiant; U.S. Remains Aggressive

After a series of aggressive actions across the world by the United States, North Korea defied the apparent Western right to dictate the behavior and policies of all nations on the globe by launching a missile test on Sunday. Despite warnings from the United States about nuclear and missile tests, North Korea also announced that there will be no changes to its plans to conduct such tests in the future.

The world is now awaiting the American response. Unfortunately, however, American responses these days tend to come in the form of bombs, missiles, and destabilizations.

North Korean Vice Foreign Minister Han Song Ryol remained defiant earlier this week stating clearly that, “We'll be conducting more missile tests on a weekly, monthly and yearly basis." He added that, if the United States attempts a “military solution” then North Korea will respond “with a nuclear pre-emptive strike” and “all-out war” will ensue.

As FOX News reports, “North Korea’s deputy U.N. ambassador Kim In Ryong said during a news conference that the U.S. was turning the Korean Peninsula into “the world’s biggest hotspot” and creating “a dangerous situation in which a thermonuclear war may break out at any moment.”

So America has finally done it. It has finally sunk so low as to make possibly the most ruthless dictator in the world actually become the good guy in a confrontation between our country and his.

U.S. Sends 'Dozens' Of Soldiers To 'Advise' In Somalia

As if America’s previous experience in Somalia was not memorable enough, the United States is committing “dozens” of troops to the embattled semi-failed state under the ever-present guise of “fighting terrorism.”

In an exclusive report from American propaganda outlet, Voice of America, it was stated,

Dozens of American soldiers have deployed to Mogadishu to train and equip Somali and AMISOM (African Union Mission in Somalia) forces fighting extremism in Somalia, U.S. military officials told VOA.

The troops' arrival marks the first presence of American military forces in Somalia, other than a small unit of counterterrorism advisers, since March 1994 when the U.S. pulled out of the U.N. intervention operation in the war-torn state, five months after 18 U.S. special forces personnel were killed in a battle with Somali militiamen that inspired the movie Black Hawk Down.

"United States Africa Command will conduct various security cooperation and/or security force assistance events in Somalia in order to assist our allies and partners," U.S. Africa Command spokesman Pat Barnes told VOA on Thursday.

A U.S. military official told VOA that the troops are arriving in Somalia at the request of the Somali government.

While not engaged in the same mission as before (this mission is one of advising as opposed to the 1990s’ peacekeeping mission) and not a violation of international law if U.S. forces were invited in (unlike in Syria), the deployment does represent yet one more instance of expanding American military involvement across the world.

Syria 'Bus Bombing' Conducted By Terrorists, Not Syrian Government; No Red Lines?

Brandon Turbeville

April 16, 2017

Days after pushing the patience of the world with its missile attack on the al-Sha’aryat airbase, the America’s puppet troops committed yet another atrocity that is provoking international attention. While the justification provided by the United States missile attack was a highly questionable gas attack (which all the evidence points toward being the handiwork of Western-backed terrorists), the recent incident involves an attack on several buses leaving government-held towns of Kefraya and Foah.

The attack was a suicide bombing aimed at the buses carrying refugees set to be evacuated from both towns to more secure government-held areas. The transportation of these civilians is part of the recent “four cities” agreement between the Syrian government and Western-backed terrorist forces to evacuate civilians to Syrian-government territory or terrorist supporters to terrorist held territory. The other villages involved in the transfer were the terrorist-held Zabadani and Madaya. The plan was devised to minimize civilian casualties and to eliminate the necessity to reclaim territory isolated by opposing forces, a plan that was facilitated by Iran and Qatar.

Around 126 people were killed in the attacks, including at least 80 children, according to the pro-terrorist Syrian Observatory For Human Rights.

The BBC reports slightly different numbers, recounting the story as follows:

At least 68 children were among 126 people killed in Saturday's bomb attack on buses carrying evacuees from besieged Syrian towns, activists say.

U.S. Bombs Weapons Depot Containing Chemical Weapons In Deir ez-Zor, Killing Hundreds; Silence From Western Media

Not even a week after the United States launched 59 Tomahawk missiles at the al-Sha’aryat airbase under the pretext of a response to an extremely questionable “chemical weapons attack,” the United States has caused its own chemical weapons incident in Syria with a recent airstrike.

According to the Syrian government, the United States on Wednesday struck an ISIS weapons depot in Deir ez-Zor that caused a large plume of yellow smoke, an indication of the presence of chemical weapons.

"The jets of the so-called US-led coalition launched a strike at about 17:30-17:50 [local time, 14:30-14:50 GMT] on a Daesh warehouse where many foreign fighters were present. First a white cloud and then a yellow one appeared at the site of the strike, which points at the presence of a large number of poisonous substances. A fire at the site continued until 22:30 [19:30 GMT]," the Syrian military stated to Russia’s Sputnik.

Syria’s General Staff has stated that the U.S. strike killed “hundreds of people, including civilians” and that hundreds of people were poisoned by the gas that was released as a result of the strike.

"This confirms that Daesh and al-Nusra terrorists possess chemical weapons and are capable of using, obtaining and transporting it," said the Syrian government document.

The United States has categorically denied having bombed the weapons depot. “The Syrian claim is incorrect and likely intentional misinformation,” Colonel Dorrian told Reuters.

Nikki Haley Humiliates America, Grovels Before Israel At AIPAC Summit

April 12, 2017

In an unparalleled display of fealty and subservience, the United States’ Ambassador to the United Nations, Nikki Haley, sat before an AIPAC (American-Israeli Political Action Committee) and proclaimed all the horrors visited upon the Zionist settler state under the Obama administration as well as all the things the United States has done to support Israel since Trump came to power. In other words, she set up a perfect representation of the narrative that has existed all along; i.e. despite the fact that the Obama administration was an unwavering supporter of Israel, giving historical amounts of money and assistance to the settler state, pledging loyalty to the colony, and actively helping to destroy Israel’s self-made enemies, Obama is still considered a “weak” supporter of Israel.

After strangely stating that she wears heels, not for the fashion statement, but so, if she “see[s] something wrong, I’m gonna kick em’ every single time.” Haley, obviously not understanding that the “heels” are supposed to actually be heels, not a type of shoe, was referring to even the slightest criticism of Israel for murdering Palestinians, steeling their land, or generally starting aggressive wars across the Middle East.

Haley’s entire speech was littered with literal groveling at the foot of AIPAC and Israel. The U.N. Ambassador could barely control the look on her face which reeked of a desire for approval. Throughout the entire speech, Haley’s face screamed “Do you like what I’m saying? Did I do good? Should I turn it up a notch? Would you like anything else?”

In Response To UA Incident, Donald Trump Orders Missile Strikes On United Airlines (Satire!)

After watching the horrendous footage of an Asian doctor being beaten and dragged from a passenger jet, President Donald Trump has ordered missile strikes against United Airlines as a response for what he has deemed “horrible brutality.”

Trump, speaking before reporters, stated that “Even beautiful doctors were forcibly removed from the flight. No child of God deserves to suffer such horror.”

Trump’s response involved the launching of Tomahawk missiles against the United Airlines terminal, a strike that cost only $9 million, bolstering Trump’s reputation as a financial conservative. According to Trump’s official statement, “many, many planes” were destroyed and the amount of damage was “huge.”

Democrats in the House and Senate responded with fury, however, demanding that Trump also damage the runway and bomb all other airlines at the airport. Republicans denounced Trump’s refusal to use the word “radical Islamic terror” when describing the incident.

Hillary Clinton immediately took to the airwaves to demand that Trump bomb all airports, destroy all planes, and kill all passengers in the Western Hemisphere. She stated that she argued this plan to the Obama administration. Unfortunately, the President was too busy killing civilians in foreign countries to focus on murdering them at home, an example of how the U.S. government is so starved of money from low taxes to operate efficiently.

Large U.S. Military Convoy Seen Heading To New Base In Northern Syria

In what appears to be the second in a ramped up but gradual invasion of Syria by the United States, a massive convoy of U.S. military vehicles was seen making its way from Turkey to their new home in Kobane (Ayn al-Arab), in Northern Syria, Aleppo province.

A new report by Al-Masdar reveals satellite imagery that was able to capture the vehicles on their way to the newly constructed base.

Although the base is yet to be fully completed, it appears to be mostly finished as satellite imagery taken on April 11 shows.

The staffing of an American military base in Northern Syria comes only days after 20 U.S. armored vehicles entered Syria from the Jordanian border, an incident that itself took place only days after the United States launched 59 Tomahawk missiles into Idlib Province, hitting the al-Sha’aryat airbase.

Some of the missiles found their way into the al-Sha’aryat countryside, killing nine civilians, four of whom were children.

Russia has condemned the U.S. act of aggression while Syria has repeated demands that the United States vacate the country, as its presence there is a violation of international law.

Putin Reveals Evidence Of Impending "False Flag" Chemical Attack In Syria; Justification For U.S. Bombing

April 11, 2017

In a stunning statement, Russian President Vladmir Putin has announced that Russia has evidence that not only was the recent chemical weapons incident in Idlib a false flag attack, but that another similar incident is currently being planned.

“We have reports from multiple sources that false flags like this one – and I cannot call it otherwise – are being prepared in other parts of Syria, including the southern suburbs of Damascus. They plan to plant some chemical there and accuse the Syrian government of an attack,” he said at a joint press conference in Moscow with Italian President Sergio Mattarella.

“President Mattarella and I discussed it, and I told him that this reminds me strongly of the events in 2003, when the US representatives demonstrated at the UN Security Council session the presumed chemical weapons found in Iraq. The military campaign was subsequently launched in Iraq and it ended with the devastation of the country, the growth of the terrorist threat and the appearance of Islamic State [IS, formerly ISIS] on the world stage,” he added.

A separate statement was released from the Russian General Staff which stated that terrorists were transporting “toxic agents” into several locations in Syria.

While the incident that took place in Idlib has not been fully investigated yet, it is clear that the Syrian military did not gas civilians in Khan Sheikhoun. Overwhelming evidence suggests that it was the terrorists who either gassed or, at the very least, possessed chemical weapons.

An Angel In Damascus

April 10, 2017

I met an angel in Damascus today. A beautiful young lady, 20 years old...my son's age, with golden hair and huge blue eyes. A Greek, born and raised in Syria. Enjoying a rare treat of going to a cafe after celebrating Palm Sunday in church.

She was shot three times by US backed "moderate rebels". They kidnapped her friend. They were on their way to school.

And she looked at me with those eyes and from her pure heart asked, "Why do Americans hate us? We love everyone. We love peace."

Had to take a deep breath then to hold back tears. When I told her Americans don't hate the Syrian people...that we are mostly people of good will...but we have been lied to...that Americans are led to believe we are helping Syrians.

And then she said, "but they are helping the ones killing us." And all I can say is, "I know."

We spoke about life before the war. All the hopes and dreams. Now, they only live day to day, trying to survive and make enough to eat.

Then I asked her if she is considering leaving...with her Greek passport she would be welcomed anywhere... and what she thinks of President Assad.

She spoke of her love and respect for him and how courageous he and his family have been to stay in Syria. As long as he stays, the angel says, she will too.

Here's To The Christians

I'm back in Damascus from Homs.

All around me are the sounds of church bells in honor of Palm Sunday.

Not 1 kilometer away are terrorist mercenaries who rain mortars on civilians here almost daily, and this part of the Old City is a particularly favorite target.

I wonder, as American Christians sit safely and comfortably in their churches...whether they have any understanding.

Not much it appears.

If these terrorist groups, supported by the US and our allies, break thru the lines here so close to me, the church bells will no longer ring.

Not only will the minorities get slaughtered, but the Muslims too as our pet terrorists have killed many more Muslims than any other group. Sunnis, Alawites, Christians, Shiites...anyone of good will is targeted for persecution or extinction.

I was talking with a Sunni friend here whose family fled before ISIS a few years ago. "They will kill us all" she says...meaning anyone and everyone who won't submit to their violent ideology.

So here's to the Christians...how long will you stay silent?

A message from a Homsi to President Trump: "You suck."

All day here, in Homs, Syria, I have been getting the people's reactions to the US bombing of the nearby air field and "You suck" sums them all up pretty well. A very dear close friend lost his uncle today, one of the leaders of that airbase. A man who had been fighting ISIS for years in Deir Ezzor.

Anger, sadness, frustration, disgust but not much surprise. While many here were encouraged by Trump's campaign rhetoric, they know that talk is cheap. They've been waiting to see if there might be some slim possibility of an American president who would not have a "shoot first, ask questions never" foreign policy.

Well, now they know. Nothing has changed. The allegations of chemical weapons use by the Syrian government are asinine...stupid.

But not as stupid as our decades-long policy of arming, training, funding, recruiting, and lying for terrorists...packaging and branding them as "moderates" or "freedom fighters" while thinking we can control these demons.

You don't know America. You just don't know.

You can't train a rabid dog because they'll bite most viciously the hand that feeds them.

Friends and family with the best of intentions are urging me to leave here. I will not. In all the world, this is the place to be.

15km From Trump's Bombs, Syrians Determined To Stay Strong

I am 15km from Emperor Trump's unconstitutional act of war, not just against Syria, but against humanity and civilization.

Came down to the lobby for better wifi connection. The owner greeted me.

When he saw the tears welling up in my eyes, he brought me to his office, gave me coffee and dates and we listened to the famous singer Fairuz.

And HE consoled ME ... and his son, my son's age, made me promise to smile and not cry. It is ok his father told me. Life will go on. Since the Egyptians so many have tried to control this land. It is the center...the crossroads of the world...east to west, north to south.

Eventually I went back to the lobby for breakfast after his kindness. There were two soldiers there, one was a lawyer before the war. I put my hand over my heart to show my pain at the loss of their brothers in arms. They also were so kind and as they left our eyes met and no words were necessary. Go with God.

I feel at home here and among friends and family of the heart. I feel sorry for those who don't this place and these people.

I have an idea...instead of bombing them, how about you get to know them instead.

Russia Deploys Ships To North Atlantic For 'Training'

After the United States launched its illegal assault on the Syrian military’s al-Sha’aryat airbase Thursday evening, the Russian response consisted of eliminating the “deconfliction channels” between the United States and Russia as well as by deploying the Admiral Grigorovich frigate to the Mediterranean.

The ship is to position itself between the ships that fired the Tomahawk missiles. It will also visit the Russian logistics base in Tartous, Syria.

The Russian Defense Ministry also stated that Syrian air defenses will be beefed up as a result of the American aggression.

While not directly in the Syrian theatre, Russia has now announced that it will be sending Corvette Boykiy and Sobrazitelny, tugboat MB-123 and tanker Kola of the Baltic Fleet to the North Atlantic.

The stated goal of the ships’ presence is for military training, a plausible reason for deployment.

However, given the situation surrounding Syria and the escalation of American aggression, some are wondering if the ships aren’t in the North Atlantic for another more strategic reason, such as reconnaissance and deterrence.

U.S. Sending Navy Strike Group To Korean Peninsula In Show Of Force

After nearly provoking World War Three with Russia as a result of its illegal attack against Syrian military positions in al-Sha’aryat, the Trump administration is looking to provoke an international conflict on the other side of the world. This time, North Korea is the target.

Only days after testing a pathetic missile that only traveled 36 miles before dropping into the sea, the United States government is acting as if North Korea has all but declared war on the United States and is sending a Navy strike group to the Korean peninsula.

As Reuters reports,

A U.S. Navy strike group will be moving toward the western Pacific Ocean near the Korean peninsula as a show of force, a U.S. official told Reuters on Saturday, as concerns grow about North Korea's advancing weapons program.
Earlier this month North Korea tested a liquid-fueled Scud missile which only traveled a fraction of its range.
The strike group, called Carl Vinson, includes an aircraft carrier and will make its way from Singapore toward the Korean peninsula, according to the official, who was not authorized to speak to the media and requested anonymity.

Breaking Reports: U.S. Forces Entering Syria From Jordanian Border

Reports coming in from Lebanon and Syria are indicating that the United States is not done with its direct assault on Syria even as the al-Sha’aryat airbase that was targeted by American Tomahawk missiles is back up and running.

As independent journalist, Sarah Abdallah, reports, around 20 U.S. armored vehicles have poured across the Jordanian border into Syria. At this time, it remains unclear as to what the purpose of the vehicles might be. Abdallah is based in Lebanon.

Some suggest that the vehicles may simply yet another illegal American incursion into Syria of the routine variety, a prospect that is dangerous enough given current circumstances. However, there is also the possibility that the vehicles are part of something much larger such as an invasion of Syria by the United States, thus putting the U.S. in direct odds and likely military confrontation with both Syrian and Russian forces.

As of yet, there is no clear reason being cited for the incursion.

Inconsistent Empathy Toward Syria on Cue with Propaganda

What just happened in Syria?

The day before an important peace talk, titled “Syria – Six Years On: From Destruction to Reconstruction,” which was dismissed as a “pro-Assad” event, something happened. Just when things were going well for Assad, stability was shattered when he was blamed for a chemical attack that allegedly killed about 70 people.

As if the US and their mainstream media knew this was going to happen, the Trump Administration was quick to unleash about 60 Tomahawk missiles on Syria, one of the most bold acts of aggression ever used against Assad’s regime.

Does it make strategic sense for Assad to randomly kill his own people in an obscene way the day before an important peace talk? Like the last chemical attack he was blamed for, it doesn’t make sense. It would make sense if this was a false flag to justify aggression against Syria, to state the obvious.

What makes even less sense is the selective empathy and even deeper apathy of average Americans, and many people in the West. Not everyone is apathetic though: many people are very vocally calling bullshit on Assad being behind this.

But both the apathetic and those who try to understand what’s going on truly can’t fathom the horror of war without seeing it in person. Without personally bearing witness to drone strikes and attacks on civilians, it can’t be understood to much depth.

Syrian Military Fires On U.S. Spy Aircraft Over Qamlishi

Only two days after the United States barely avoided World War Three as a result of its illegal and immoral missile strikes on the Syrian military, the situation in Syria is heating up yet again.

Reports coming from Lebanon-based news outlet, al-Masdar News, are suggesting that the Syrian military and the U.S. military have yet again been involved in a direct clash in Syria.

A military source confirmed to al-Masdar on April, 8, that a Syrian Special Forces unit targeted a U.S. reconnaissance aircraft that was flying over Northeast Syria.

The plane was allegedly hovering over Syrian military positions, specifically the Syrian Army’s Regiment 54 Base in Qamilishi.

The Syrian military personnel opened fire on the plane and the aircraft allegedly fled the area after it “came into contact with the Syrian Arab Army” stated the source.

It is unclear what kind of weaponry was used to fire at the plane or whether the plane sustained any damage.

Was Israel The Reason For The U.S. Strike On Syrian Military Base?

After the U.S. missile strikes in Syria, many may have wondered why the al-Sha’ayrat airfield was the target. In other words, what was so important about this airbase as opposed to all the others? The Trump administration, for their part, claimed that they targeted “chemical weapons” being stored at the base and that this particular base was where the chemical weapons originated.

Of course, in order to believe the Trump administration’s claims, one would have to accept that there was indeed a chemical weapons incident that was not staged by White Helmets and that the Syrian military intentionally gassed civilians. One would also have to believe that the Syrian government still has access to chemical weapons and would actually have the motivation to use them against non-combatants. One would also have to believe that the chemical weapons were stored at this base and that the United States targeted these weapons specifically.

Obviously, it would be ill-advised to believe any of these statements.

However, there may be one reason kept quiet by the U.S. administration that stands as the real motivation behind the U.S. strike; namely that the base bombed by the Trump administration is the same base from which Israeli fighter jets were shot down after launching their own illegal strikes into Syria.

Trump Kills 'Beautiful Babies' In Syria Because Killing Children Is 'Horrible'

Only hours after a very questionable chemical weapons incident that may very well have been staged from the word ‘go,’ U.S. President Donald Trump stood before reporters and the nation and channeled his inner Barack Obama, feigning human emotion and sadness at the death of children in Syria.

Trump repeated thoroughly discredited claims while attempted to drum up support for military action against the Syrian government by pulling at the heartstrings of the typically hardened American public.

“Assad choked out the lives of innocent men, women and children” he said. “It was a slow and brutal death for so many. Even beautiful babies were cruelly murdered in this very barbaric attack. No child of god should ever suffer such horror.”

But more children of God suffered such horror only hours later when Trump himself ordered a barrage of Tomahawk missiles to strike the al- Sha’aryat airbase near Homs, Syria. While many of the missiles did strike their targets – a tragedy in its own right – others missed, tearing into the al-Sha’aryat countryside, killing approximately nine civilians, four of whom were children.

Shortly after the chemical weapons incident in Syria, Donald Trump paraded himself in front of the world posing as emotionally distraught over the deaths of “beautiful babies” in Syria as a result of what he claimed was a Syrian government chemical attack. Of course, while no one knows definitively who was responsible for the attack, it is clear that the Syrian government was not the responsible party. At best, a weapons depot was bombed that was housing chemical weapons belonging to Western-backed terrorists.

Only a number of hours after feigning concern over gassed children, Trump ordered Tomahawk missile strikes against Syrian military bases in Syria, under the guise of protecting civilians.

The Guardian, reporting on the strikes up to the minute, reported,

The map shows al-Shayrat airfield, a Syrian military site close to Homs, which was targeted by around 60 US Tomahawk missiles.
It’s currently Friday 4.30am in Syria. It is not yet clear precisely what time the strikes were carried out.

Pro-War Trump Statements On Syria In Direct Contrast To His Anti-War Tweets In 2013; Both Over Chem Weapons

As former South Carolina governor Nikki Haley does all she can to eclipse Samantha Power as being the most bloodthirsty warmonger at the United Nations, consistently shrieking and shilling for war with Syria, U.S. President Donald Trump, who won partially because of the support given him by people who opposed the war on Syria is doing whatever he can to become Barack Obama.

After the questionable chemical weapons incident (there is not even enough evidence to call it an attack), Nikki Haley stood before reporters and hinted as possible U.S. military intervention in Syria with or without a U.N. resolution.

"When the United Nations consistently fails in its duty to act collectively, there are times in the life of states that we are compelled to take our own action,” she said.

Trump also repeated the lie that the Assad government was the responsible party for the chemical weapons incident and rejected the Russian explanation that the chemical weapons were released as a result of the destruction of a terrorist weapons depot that was also being used to produce chemical weapons.

"And I will tell you, it’s already happened that my attitude toward Syria and Assad has changed very much," he said, adding that the incident “crossed many, many lines.”

When pressed as to what the U.S. response would be, Trump played coy, stating only, “You’ll see.”

Chemical Weapons 2017: What Just Happened In Syria?

Yet again, on cue, the Western corporate press is on fire with stories of “Assad’s brutality,” and “chemical weapons” attacks against civilians. Obviously, the United States, NATO, and their media mouthpieces are united in condemnation of the Assad government and the Syrian military despite their being no evidence that it committed the attacks. Indeed, the Western powers may blame Assad all they want but all the available credible evidence suggests that the deployment of chemical weapons this time around, like all the others before it, was the work of terrorists and their supporters.

But the evidence does not matter to propagandists and, despite the public appearance that the U.S. President is battling the Deep State apparatus, it seems now that the Deep State and the head of the country are now finally reading from the same page.

The Incident

According to a flurry of reports, an incident occurred on April4, 2017 in Idlib, Syria in the village of Khan Sheikhoun, where it has been reported that chemical weapons were used or detonated resulting in the death of at least 58 people including 11 children. And that is all we know about the incident. We do not know it was an attack. We do not know it was an accident. We only know that whatever happened has been turned into an international incident aimed at demonizing the Assad government and testing Russia in Syria yet again.

Assad and the Syrian Government Denies Using Chemical Weapons

For its part, the Syrian government has categorically denied launching chemical weapons against civilians or terrorists in Idlib. Russia has reaffirmed that the Syrian military is innocent of the charges brought by the West with a military source telling al-Masdar News that the army “has not and does not use them, not in the past and not in the future, because it does not have them in the first place.”

Who Was Behind The St. Petersburg Bombing And What Was The Motive?

It has now been a day after the attacks in St. Petersburg and the Western world is once again showing their hand as a result of their callous, stern responses. These public responses stand in direct contrast to their grandstanding and expressions of “solidarity” with any Western nation or Israel when a terrorist attack takes place or, more realistically, is allowed or directed to happen by Western governments.

After some initial confusion, it is now understood that anywhere from 10 to 14 people were killed and at least 37 injured after an explosion took place in a train carriage in a metro tunnel in St. Petersburg on Monday. It is being reported that the explosion was set off by an explosive device hidden in a bag or briefcase that had been left on the train before it departed Sennaya Ploshchad station and headed toward the Tekhnologichesky Institut station.

There was apparently a secondary device, disguised as a fire extinguisher, which did not detonate but which was much larger than the first. The driver of the train is now being hailed as a hero because of his decision to force the train into the next station. His decision saved the lives of many because, had the train become stationary in the tunnel, the victims would have been stuck with major delays for rescue personnel.

The Cause And Motive

Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that “The causes of this event have not been determined yet, so it’s too early to talk about [possible causes]. The investigation will show. Certainly, we will consider all possibilities: common, criminal, but first of all of a terrorist nature.”

It's Time To Nationalize The Federal Reserve!

The United States today finds itself in the midst of a crisis which exists on a multitude of different levels. From the establishment of a culture of constant warfare, increasing environmental degradation, and the devolution into an outright police state, the perils of the current system are easily visible to those with eyes to see.

Nowhere, however, is the crisis more visible than in the manifestations of the world economic depression.

From mass unemployment (estimated at approximately 25% when all factors are considered) and a growing national debt to a ballooning trade deficit and the loss of purchasing power of the dollar as well as decrepit and crumbling national infrastructure, the United States today faces a crisis of epic proportions. Add to this the lack of real, tangible progress and even the trend to regression, the future of the United States and the rest of the world seems bleak.

Most of the blame for this economic calamity, of course, can be directly traced back to the treachery of private bankers, Wall Street, and the practice of usury combined with the acts of the agents of these financiers in the halls of government at some point or other. In other words, the politicians these banks and corporations own. Ever since the Federal Reserve was solidified as the perceived national bank of the United States, the most powerful nation on the face of the earth and, thus, its people, were placed under the rule and at the mercy of private bankers. The economic health and future of the United States was placed in the hands of the very elitists and financiers from which the American people should have been protected. As a result of the Federal Reserve Act of 1913 and subsequent policy, the power over the issuing of currency and credit, the ability to cause mass inflation or deflation, and the opportunity to orchestrate booms and busts, productivity and depression, was placed in the hands of private bankers who were granted the authority to act completely independent of the authority of the United States Federal government. Thus, the U.S. Federal government has now been reduced to reacting to the decisions made by the private Federal Reserve instead of the Federal Reserve acting as a truly national bank and reacting to the decisions made by the Federal government. The latter is as it should be. The former is an aberration.

U.S. Says It Is No Longer Interested In Forcing Assad To Step Down; Focused On ISIS Instead

After showing signs of ratcheting up the Obama war policy against Syria and the government of Bashar al-Assad, the U.S. government has released an official statement that has shocked many on both the pro-Syria and opposition sides. According to Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and Ambassador to the United Nations, Nikki Haley, the United States is no longer concerned with forcing Assad to leave power and instead will be focused on “defeating ISIS.”

"You pick and choose your battles and when we're looking at this, it's about changing up priorities and our priority is no longer to sit there and focus on getting Assad out," she told a small group of reporters.

"Do we think he's a hindrance? Yes. Are we going to sit there and focus on getting him out? No," she said. "What we are going to focus on is putting the pressure in there so that we can start to make a change in Syria."

"We can't necessarily focus on Assad the way that the previous administration did," she added. "Our priority is to really look at how do we get things done, who do we need to work with to really make a difference for the people in Syria."
